it also happens to me too,

it proabably because when everything is going fine, you don't pay attention to who's helping you along the way. but when things slip then you wonder what went wrong.

and thats when you need help getting up

Happens to me too , I suppose it's like when a toddler gets a toy at christmas, he asks his dad for it and keeps pestering him then when he finally gets it hes so in to the toy he forgets to thank his dad.

pain is the medicine while happines is the disease. only when one is in pain they remember god. its seems natural for us to try to blame someone as a scapegoat or find strenght in a great entity when down.

i know few people, when they mess up(or like u said all deep in gutter) they try to get help from the things that live or are in that gutter..and not Guru sahib. the thought of askin Guru sahib for help doen't even come in their mind!

In Sikhi we beleive that without the bad, how would we know what the good is? if everything was good, wouldnt it be boring? we would never know that it is good, as we never had anything else to compare it with!

Perhaps the bad times are god reminding you of what he gave you that makes life good and that perhaps you are forgetting that.

thnx guys , but the thing is i remember guru ji when i'm down, and then feel guilty about remembering him juss then and in the words of "fat b@st@rd" from austin powers.."its a vicous cycle"
