when taking about caste, i was not merely talking about jatt, tarkhan, or whatever else there is.

I was talking about jathas/groups being formed because of the style of dastar people wear...

Dumala = AKJ

Gol (Sant ji style) = DDT

then the Kookia have thier own style. etc...

From this, are we not creating another "caste" being the groups each individual classes themselves as - and steering away from the caste system which already exsists?

People say the dont believe in the caste system, its wrong... But they are ignorant to the fact that maybe they are creating other "castes" when getting together with a particular jatha / group?? And excluding themselves from the other groups because they think they are better...

did u know back in the day every singh/singhni had a gol style / dumalla dastar, we don actually know where the punjabi style came from.
