Hookah /shisha

I'm seeing all of a sudden these hookah/shisha bars springing up and young boys and girls sitting there smoking away.

They say they don't use tabbaco but even the flavour can mess up you're inner stoumach linning.

I thought this hookah / shisha rubbish was only mainly done by:

- Old men

- Bandhmash men who sit around watching dancers

- Dancers & prostitutes?

Am I correct or is there more to it?

its become very popular for student to smoke shisha, it has become a "cool thing to do", even amongst very educated students. fortunately the smoking ban which starts on the 1st of july will mean that all shisha bars have to close down :umm:

I'm not sure if hooka is going to be classified as cigarretes. They use some flavoured thing. I hope it's banned. But am I correct in saying it was typical a thing used by dancers & prostitutes mainly? That's what I grew up knowing. :umm:

i had some friends convince me to do it with them in high school... they tried convincing me with "don't worry man, there's no tobacco in it, it's not bad for your lungs"

but yeah.. that's my story.. i dunno if it does have tobacco or not, but i've haerd it's also tobacco fre

There used to be a shisha cafe/bar near my parents newsagents here in scotland but had to close down once the smoking ban came in. It will be the same in england and shisha is flavoured tobbaco from what I know.

Shisha contains tobacco and there is not such thing that it does not. Only difference is that it is flavoured. Anyway if you feel like smoking why care about your belief in being a Sikh because your mind is already corrupted by the thought of being a smoker. Anyway why as a sikh do you need such indulgence, should you not spending your living hours doing what has is needed to be done, nam jap, kirat kar and vand kay shak.
