You are probably right.....but I understand the in and outs of moderating probably because I moderate on 3 or 4 Sikhi sites (and some nothing to do with Sikhi).

So it is so important to nabb personal attacks in the bud. A good example of a veiled personal attack is that by Morakh. Probably an internet troll. They are quite easy to spot. (Internet Trolls are people who try and cause fights on line).

There is no doubt that when there is a mention of M**T you start to justify your actions with "well researched" evidence. Maybe that's because you subconsiously feel guilty about what you are doing and therefore go onto the internet to seek reassurance and to convince others that its ok. You should look into that with ur therapist (joke). Anyway i'm not trying to say ur views are wrong but I am saying that you do start pump out the pro M**T propaganda at every given opportunity. Your moderation of that thread would of not come into questioning if you had acted neutral. Your neutrality is of concern. In my view there was nothing wrong in closing the thread if it broke an establish rule, e.g. not discussing whether Sikh's can eat meat or not. Fair enough, if that's a rule and the thread broke it then moderators should apply the rule and close the thread.

The above is is OK. That was all that should of been said.

However, I don't think it was correct as a moderator to throw in your two cents. Where's the neutrality in that?

Clearly it seems someone has an agenda here. (I would of replace the 'someone' with a moderators name but the rules state, 'They (the moderators) do not deserve to have scorn heaped upon them either publicly or privately.)

However, as the forum rules state, if you think a moderator has acted inappropriately, please contact the administrators privately so we can deal with it.

There was a case were I started a thread entitled Singhni Gets Life!

Balait_da_Sher kindly directed me to a thread that was already discussing this.

However later some unkown moderator retitles the orginal thread to Woman Gets Life!

No explaination as to why. I can assume the previous moderator had no issue with it.

There definitely seems to be moderators who have agenda here. Agenda's siding with Jatha Baba Dera types. Power corrupts you know.

why? Because he has a different view? Because he was wronged? That's not good enough. If everyone that felt they were wronged by a mod was made into a mod, everyone would be a mod.

Randip singh totally stole a topic and took it in another direction. The topic was about subway, and to a lesser extent, bibek. And then he came in and started a meat debate. Quite frankly, I feel wronged becaue I was enjoying a fresh debate, and not the same old stuff about meat and what not. Should I be made into a mod?
