good discussions with good intentions is needed... buh.. we hafta also ask, how much time are we spendin on these discussions? how much energy is spent on these discussion? on proving our point? on proving the other person wrong?

discussions shud be had... buh they shud'nt continue on forever with no set conclusion.. in fact... MANY discussions don't have a 'wrong' or 'right'.... and thats where the problem lies... some people strongly believe one thing, some people strongly believe another, some people are jus like 'to each their own'...

the amount of time and energy spent on some of these discussions is ridiculous though... there'll be threads with 7-10 pages of nonsense, on a question/comment that cud be answered in 1 page max.... buh then, we look at the gurbani/rehat/inspiriation sections... very rarely do we see threads that are more then 1-2 pages...

discussions are great.. buh we also have to get our priorities straight... and spend as lil time on 'small' queries as possible... and (if we're going to be on the forum anyways) as much time on gurbani/gursikhi discussions..

however... agreed that every discussion shud be made with open and pure hearts and intentions...

Theres only so far that an internet discussion forum can take you anyway.

At the end of the day the real lessons will be learnt by experiencing the jeevan, not just chatting about it on-line.
