Singhs In Professional Sports

I'm somewhat of a die hard Basketball fan and I've found myself thinking.. "wouldnt it be cool if there was a Singh playing for the Los Angelos Lakers. ". I've never heard about a Gursikh going to the professional level in pretty much any sport.

So this is my question. Does anybody know of a Gursikh who plays at a professional or even collegiate level?

It can be any sport though.

Monty the basketball player... well really wasent much of a player. He pretty much entered the NBA draft for kicks. :s

umm not sure but i thing malhotra from the minasoda wild comes pretty close for an indian playing hockey ...... lol don't wrry you'll see me playing in the NHL soon time

HMmmmm..... well im gona be in the European Hapkido Chapionships, which is a Korean Martial Art, i dont see my self as some sort of sports professional tho, its just somat I like doin, well ok its been 5 years now......

oh n i train and participate in my dastar, n hopefully in three weeks ill have to find a way to wear the siri sahib also.... any tips will be welcomed............
