I'm a student and although people think we're lazy I reckon we work really hard compared to people who just have a job. We students go to 9-5 lectures, take work home and then do all nighters....not many employee's will put in so much effort! :@

I work for the Provincial Government BC, if anyone is looking for a job or sort of stuck on options, let me know. Hopefully I can lead you in the right way, - to be honest my job is pretty difficult, and I hope to God I can keep working there.

Most important lesson to everyone, life's short, you dont even know if you'll be here tommorow, don't let your JOB define you as a person. After all its a job, if you can't find a job, dont worry, relax, enjoy life, pray to waheguru, amrit shaqlo!

wjkk wjkf!!!

u made me happy! (not because i dont have a job ... but because i have met few people out of billions who think that way and realized the truth) and IN NO WAY AM I SAYING, when i ask u to read what i found and read which portraits smiler beliefs as mine(cant find the other one i read few months back), that one shouldn't work etc. it is one of the pillars of sikhi :@ we just need to be VERY careful that we dont let ourselves be defined by our jobs!(what if u lose it then what?)

hopefully this will help..cuz it helped me. i used to be one of those who would judge someone on what their education was or what JOB THEY held. thank u waheguru for giving me experiences to be h___

Do you feel pressure to be the person that your office nameplate says you are? Or do you feel that people judge who you are simply by what your profession is? Here is a word on both of these predicaments that will give you hope and happiness….

First, I have to say that I myself have been at the brunt of other people’s opinion as to what my job consists of as well as feeling the pressure to be who society deems as important and contributory to our society. When I moved to the U.S. from Canada I had to sort through immigration and therefore was on a hiatus from work until I was legally allowed. Before leaving I distinctly remember an ex-colleague from my Professional Sales job asking me “So, you’re not gonna be a housewife now or something, are you?” This seems to be the attitude of many Torontonians unfortunately. Now that I reside in Florida I feel such a relief as there is a rejoicing in women who stay-at-home and even home school their children. I myself am a writer and a Home Stager so I do many other things besides keep a nice home for my hubby. I am sick of the attitudes of others who also turn their nose up at those who are in a non-professional vocation. Just because your Hotel Housekeeping staff doesn’t speak a lot of English or seem to have much more to offer than cleaning, that is not to say that this isn’t just an in-between job or a second job to her own business? I thought about all this as I watched other visitors in my hotel in L.A. These are the types of people I smile at and say hello to as they humble themselves to clean the bathroom of another.

One of the best questions we can ask someone that we meet for the first time is ‘What do you do for fun?” instead of “what do you do for a living” as the latter would imply you are gaining a lot about them just based on what their profession is.

If you are in a high profile position and feel you have to live up to society’s expectations, I have news for you-you don’t! You want to ensure you do your job and dress like a
