hello everyone,

Im learning punjabi at the moment, and im finding it really hard learning the Punjabi alphabet off by heart..

Was wondering if anyone could let me know if there is Punjabi alphabet audio out there, it would help me alot as i have trouble with the sounds of each letter..

would audio alone be that useful since you wouldnt know what letter symbol the sound goes with?

there are websites where you just click the letter and it says the sound of the letter. and the same with words and then sentences.

e.g. visit http://www.rajkaregakhalsa.net/punjabi.htm and follow the simple mini lessons in Punjabi and Gurmukhi

I made this tutorial for my young nephew in PowerPoint which allows you to hear the letters and learn words associated with them. It's about 17 MB though and I wouldn't know how to get it to you (if you were interested). Can anyone help?

I just checked it and I have all of the letter represented except the last line (the one with the letters with dots). I haven't linked sounds to them. Shall I send it as it is or get the sounds of the last line in? (You can see the letters but no words of sounds have been linked to them).

Then go to the folder called Panjabi Learning Resources

The tutorial is called "Panjabi Alphabet Tutorial" it is about 17MB in size and you need to view it in PowerPoint. Let me know if you have any problems and we'll think of some other way to get it to you.
