Simranjit Mann's Blatant Speech To Indian Parliament

Recommended Posts

He holds the record to win by Highest No. of votes ever by an MP in India when he won from Sangrur. But he never went to the Parliament bcoz he wanted to go in with full size Kirpaan

But sadly he lost in the last elections both in center as well as state elections.

People just dont vote for the right person.

For those who wish to claim india doesnt have any freedom of speech so that they can push their agenda. If India doesnt have any freedom of speech, sardar simranjit singh mann wouldnt be allowed to speak truth like this in heart core of india- Delhi, Center Indian Parliament.

point of my post is- freedom of speech is censored at some parts in india but not all parts...next time be little optimistic than being so cynical/skeptical or paranoid.

Mann case is very different because he got several cases going on (TADA), his passport was taken away and he went thru many rigiourous torture given by police power. He is a famous figure and many know this as the fact that if someone touch mann, it will give them bad publicity and they (govt) will face more unwanted trouble... So in reality they really don't have any choice left :)

Also... sarpanch bruv.. sometime one should have debate with mithi boli :)

sarpanch, looks like i pushed your buttons little too hard... sorry...lol.. anyway stop getting your knickers in twist. i m not denying there is limited freedom of speech at some parts in india as compare to western world. But i refuse to believe freedom of speech is limited all across india. I think it all depends from one state to another. For eg: States like southern parts of india are more civilized and liberal and one can practice full freedom of speech. How do i know? recently there was huge rally and protest against capitalism in southern state of india, not only rally was allowed, rally was against the state government, pictures like- che guvera founder of socialism/Marx contrary to Indian system was allowed.

World is not black and white as people like to believe. Sikhs need to stop being soo subjective rather being objective, give indian nation credit where its due.
