Bhagat Singh...Uneducated about Sikhism?

But NEVR EVER forget that pathh makes us very very strong internally.So do sewa but to shed ur ego DO NOT misjudge the importance of pathh. I know we guyz share the same view but I just wanted to make the things more clear.

From Bhai Sahib Bhai Randheer Singh Jee's autobiography "Jail Chittiaan"

In there it says that Bhagat Singh actually confesses to Bhai Sahib that he did not in fact shoot the man for whose murder Bhagat Singh was convicted. Furthermore, Bhagat Singh confesses that half his motivation for his actions were popularity and recognition. He confesses that before cutting his hair, even when he had a turban he was an empty shell and had no faith in God. After saying this all at some point he becomes distraught and guilty. Bhai Sahib deeply and emotionally consoles Bhagat Singh and explains about the Gurmat teachings about his life and his soul. Bhagat Singh becomes filled with renewed hope. He tells Bhai Sahib that he now has faith in God. After that point on, Bhagat Singh did in fact believe that his soul would go on (in rebirth) and he would not just "die" into nothingness like atheists believe, and in fact he had another chance to come back in to the human life. In his honest effort from that time until his death Bhagat Singh did keep his kes and he did read gurbani.

All jails must keep a log of all people who come to visit prisinors, which must have been especially true during British Raj. I've heard a lot of arguments both ways about Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh visiting Bhagat Singh. To clear up this debate, wouldn't it be easier to get hold of the visitor's logs at around the approximate time that Bhai Sahib went to visit him.

Does anybody know if this has already been done?

it's in the record that Bhagat singh requested his final written wish to be granted by British officals.. but it was denied.. You know what it was???

Thats wicked Singh! Does it mention Bhai sahib Randhir Singh in the same records/logs as well? It would be awesome to know that the British have a record of Bhai Sahib visiting Shaheed Bhagat Singh as well.

Acutally, according to Jail Chittian, Bhagat Singh wanted to meet Bhai Sahib Bhai Randheer Singh Ji before his execution. Bhai Sahib knew that Bhagat Singh had cut his hair, and he refused to see him. Right before his execution, he met Bhai Sahib, and Bhai Sahib told him that it would noble of him to keep his hair and die as a Sikh. After this meeting, Bhagat Singh became a Sikh.
