aadi - soul

biaadi - body

upaadi - from outside

There are 3 types of illnesses

aadi - arising from inside, like stress, mental illness, etc

biaadi - arising from body.. well anything illness u can see like bikhaar, painful joints etc

upaadi - arising from outer influences.. the environment, like bad sangat

except, iv been told by 2sorces (gurmukhs) that aadi/biadi is basikly ILLNESS. like biadi is a rog of the body.

aadi is a mun da rog. illness of the mun

and then upaadi, is 2 things...... 1, people can call bhoot-prait upaad.... and 2, when somone buts into somone elses business, they are doing upaad.like, 'aimee upaad kari jana ya'

this is from what i know.

and, thts such a powerfull line from guru maharaj. it sets the stage fofr god to lisen to your ardaas! this is jus what iv experienced..

there are alot of threes in gurbani.

tribhavan, tritork, trigun, and so on....

the trilok is the world, and i think the trigun is the world aswell..

the land, above the land, and below the land..

in jaap sahib there is another thing. sur nar asur.

sur is swarag, nar is us lot!, and asur is opposirte or swarag.. like demons..daint.....

iv done some reaserch in this area.... in doing this, iv found another thing... thr number four!!

like, naanak chauthe pudh nai so jun gat paaaie. in sukhmani...

this 4th level is seperate from the other 3. the other 3 is, from what i understand, the chakar of life.and this is what we are stuk in.

wee need to hop onto the 4th level!!

1 mor thing, the chakar is mainly reffered to the trilok. the world. but its more than that..

its like that is the inner cam, and the larger cam is the sur nar asur..

Singh-In-Welling, the three qualities mentioned in your second post and the three attributes of Maya, Rajo/Tamo/Sato. The fourth stage alias mentions is when, as a Gurmukh, one rises above these.

It's all vedic philosophy.. doesnt mean it's wrong..

Rajo Tamo Sato, i've been taught that the chautha padh is above these 3 gun (qualities) ie: Akaal Purakh himself.

The world itself is shaped by Rajo Tamo and Sato! Satogun creates, Rajogun preserves, Tamogun destroys.. Akaal Purakh created these 3 guns to govern the Universe

1 Maya was created.. and out of it came 3 guns. However, the irony is.. that these 3 guns, although created by akaal purakh and under his comand, can't track you back to Him! (Japji Sahib)
