The kala afghana camp are a bigger threat to the panth than the sirsa, noormal, nirankari movements. These other movements are visible and can be easily identified and action taken. The threat from within by kala afghana supporters is more deep seated and very hard to fight. By using so called intellectuals, ragi's and other parcharaks they cause confusion and use our gurdwara stages to cause fights.

Your analysis is 100 percemt correct. It is a movement where sell out sikhs mislead by acting as fifth columinists. They include Gurtej Ex IAS,Joginder and his spokesman,Ragi darshan Singh , IOSS of Chandigarh and their agents here and above all sikh missionaries.

These people are to be combatted by those sikhs who have read their scriptures and history. This is the most dangerous challenge sikhs are facing as the enemy is in sikh saroop and wear kakkars to mislead.

A true scholar doesn’t present the problems but provides answers and solves problems. If scholars started raising doubts and asking questions then who would provide answers? This just shows that Kaloo Raam is not a scholar for he has no sufficient knowledge of Sikh history let alone Gurbani. He is raising doubts in people’s minds. He is a fake, pakahndi and government’s puppet.

Prof Darshan Singh is not from their camp. He might agree with himon certain issues , which a lot of people do but as fas as SGGS Maharaj is concerned Prof Darshan Singh has utmost respect and that's what he's been campaigning for that no other scripture can match Shabad Guru SGGS Ji Maharaj and only those banis that stand the test of SGGS Ji Maharaj should be considered authentic. Whereas Kala Afghana's a govt puppet and his intentions are very clear.

I am at loss to understand what bani of Dasam Granth sahib is not per sikh teachings.Ragi Darshan singh has not understood Dasam Granth. In other words he lacks scholarship to understand Dasam Granth.Ragi'e's main aim is to propagate against Dasam Granth on Gurudwara stages. He is the man who is discredting sikh heritage by misinterpreting Dasam Granth.

Moreover Ragi is on record for showering praises on Kala afghana very recently. They are birds of same feather.

Why is kala afghana writing so much foolish crap? Why is he fretting over something he cannot understand. If he is ninety then he is nearing death. He should be more worried about the great universal disastar facing him. What will he be re-born as? I think he will get the joon of a soor that feeds on garbage.

Kala afghana sect does not believe in Naam simran, Gurmantra, sikh rehat maryada, sikh-history. They also do not believe in karma and reincarnation. That is why he is not worried about joon.

If he doesn't beleive in the above listed...then what does he?

From what you've mentioned he doesn't beleive in anything that Sikhs hold dear. i feel its imporant its shared with the sangat excatly what he challenges.

Does he challenge bani from Guroo Granth Sahib Jee?...what about Amrit & Panj Kakkari rehat...Amritvela?

If people are confused with Ragi Darshan Singh and his stand, then just look at some of his beliefs.

1. He is on record stating that daily nitnem should consist of only those bani's that are in SGGS Ji.

2. He has ridiculed Amrit-Vela. Stating that it can be any time of the day, not just the ambroisial hour. If this is not causing confusion then tell me what is.

3. When he was challenged by the jujahroo movement in the 1980's (when he said the armed struggle was wrong), after he turned his back on the movement. He started the confusion between shastar and shaastar.

4. When he went to a meeting at the White House on the 400th aniversary of the Guru Granth Sahib, he didnt hesitate to remove his kirpan.

So he will change his stance whenever the mood suits him

    • Part of the problem is the hostilities between India and Pakistan. If the border were open, Amritsar would easily become a huge trading city. Secondly, the National Highways Authority of India is constructing a new 6-lane expressway from Kashmir, through Amritsar/Jalandhar/Ludhiana to Dehli which will be part of the Ludhiana-Delhi-Kolkatta Industrial Corridor.  Maps of the New Silk Road show Kolkata as a key part of the "road". The Punjab to Kolkata expressway and rail connections will fulfill the ability to hook up to the New Silk Road.  In addition, while crossing to Pakistan via AH1 (Asian Highway 1) is difficult, India does connect to AH1 on the other side, towards the East. Finally, Punjab can trade with the world via Mundra port in Gujurat. Rail to Mundra, then sea onwards. Dubai is very close with a free port. If you send products to Iran, there are ground links onward to Europe.
    • Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. Gurbani isn't a 1428 page rulebook, like Leviticus or the Vedas: ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁੰਨ ਪਾਪ ਬੀਚਾਰਦੇ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਾਝਹੁ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ The Simritis and Shastras discriminate between charity and sin, but know not the essence of the Real Thing. Without the Guru, they know not the essence of the Reality, know not the essence of the Reality. Anand Sahib.
    • You're confusing two different things: One is merely adding starch to a turban to get a certain feel to the fabric. The other is tying your turban once and taking it off like a hat. It is this that people have a problem with. What's wrong with it is that Rehit says to tie your turban afresh every time. If you ask, "Where is that written?", it's written in Bhai Nand Lal ji's Rehitnama. @ipledgeblue didn't just make it up. Umm, no, bro. We're not evangelical Christians like President George W Bush of the US claiming to "talk to God" who told him to invade Iraq. "Speaking to him directly" basically ends up being doing whatever you feel like with the excuse that Guru ji told you to do it. If you still want to take your turban off like a hat, feel free to do so, but don't claim that it's Rehit.
    • You don't need to wear either a pag or dumalla in the gym. You can simply wear a meter or 1.5m small turban (gol pagg or round turban). It doesn't come off.
    • The reason you don't see anything wrong with it is because like a fish in water, you grew up in Western culture and imbibed it fully. It's very difficult to for parents to inculcate traditional culture while in the West. The reason there is a problem is because a kiss between a man and wife is a sexual act (I didn't say it's coitus, but it's still sexual.) By contrast a kiss between a mother and a child, for example, is not sexual. And in our culture, sexual acts are not allowed in public. Goras do allow it. And that's also the reason they have gay pride parades now with people walking around naked with children in attendance and so forth.
