Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa!

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

I have talked to some Singhs who regulalry do the Seva of the Panj Piaray...what one of them told me was that when one takes Amrit, their sins from this life are washed away, but that doesn't mean that they have become Saints and reached God, because there is still the dirt of many previous lives still with us, and that dirt can only be removed with Naam.

Sins dont just magically dissapear. What happens is that we are forgiven. BUT because of this, we live out the dukh/sukh of these karams in this life, sort of a sped up version and chances are, it wont be as painful as it could be. An example would be a rapist who realized his ways and peshed/took amrit. If he hadnt peshed he would have become a woman in plenty of janams to come and been raped again and again and even been a prostitute most likely.. Anyway, due to his peshing etc, he would probably have some other punishment in this life in order to live out karams faster (Assuming he has become a faithful gursikh). An example is perhaps he is to be brutally murdered/sodimized, or some other sick punishment in order to live out this punishment faster and in this life, so that mukhti can be attained. If he becomes a naam abhyaasi gursikh, even a jeevan mukht, this could even be reduced to something like prostate cancer, or even more to a prick on the finger.

But we still must live out the karams we make for ourselves.
