Militants occupy houses of Sikhs in Orakzai

By our correspondent

KALAYA: Militants occupied four houses of Sikh community in Qasimkhel village of Lower tehsil of Orakzai Agency on Tuesday. Galyan Singh, elder of the Sikh community, said that about 200 armed men arrived there and demanded Rs 40 million. “We failed to pay the amount and they forced the 38-member Sikh community to vacate the houses,” he said. “The families have now taken refuge in Manikhel area.” Meanwhile, the local residents condemning the incident said it was injustice to the minority community in the area.

What does the dal khalsa and the Pakistan lovers have to say about this?

Does persecution and oppression not ring any bells? I think its past the stage of turning a blind eye....

Either Sikh organisations do something about this menace urgently or you will see hardly any Sikhs left in NWFP of Pakistan.

how did u link this to shariah law :gg:

Jiza Tax is part of shariah law, thus as shariah law is imposed in that region by the taliban... you will see increasing ethnic cleanesing and persecution of minorities.... Pakistani Sikhs who reside in large numbers will suffer the most. Most of them were refugee's from afghanistan and suffered at the hands of the same islamic saudi backed waahabiya zealots... so now its do or die situation... how many more times will our brave sikh brothers and sisters in that region run away. Only dharam yudh is the solution, shame on the international Sikh community who has done nothing for our people in that region.

We need to organise something that pakistani govt takes note and combats the unjust taliban or we have to find a way to support these brothers militarily with the help of western governments. If dharam yudh is called for then it will be a chance to spread the influence Sikhism in that area with force as history has shown the islamic zealots only understand force and when Sikhs use force Sikhism only benefits and flourishs.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Mass muslim conversion has been on the rise since post 9/11, it was only a matter of time until it came to affect the Sikhs. It seems history is repeating itself.

It would be a point to get some legal help from someone who knows Pakistani law.

It is the waahabi Saudi ideology that is causing the friction, ever since 17th century these waahabi rats have been trying to destroy everything that is not seen as Islamic. In Sikh history they have led jihad against Sikh rule before and failed. Sikh generals of the Khalsa army ruthlessly killed them off and the influence of Sikhism grew in area's close to afghanistan. Most muslims of the region live in peace with Sikhs, but the arab salafi waahabi influenced muslims dont want peace with those they deem as non-muslims they even persecute other muslims who dont follow their edicts.

The passion for martyrdom needs to return to our people and western governments need to understand when our people are being persecuted they should do something to protect them or let us raise funds to support them militarily because we cant stay silent witness's forever to this evil being done against our people.
