But you got to think how do they know which house is a sikh one. assuming you havent got anything displayed. They must be working off some sort of list (Gudwara election lists etc) I dout they would walk the streets trial and error houses!.

Here is a good solution.

We are lucky we do not get these types bu once this guy came to our house doing the same sort of thing and started doing ardaas. I told him that I did not need an ardaas doing but he carried on anyway. After he finished he wanted dhaan. Again I told him that I did not ask him to do an ardaas for me, but he insisted.

So I said to him " Since I am going to give you dhaan, then you must give me something in return first"

I said " please sit down" and we both sat down

I said " please recite for me Jaap Sahib Ji from memory, I would really like to hear this. Jaap Sahib Ji is beyond keemat, but I will give you £50 if you sunna me Dasam Pita Ji's bani"

I just got a blank look.

Every time he tried to say something I insisted that he would only get his dhaan if he recited Jaap Sahib Ji.
