1) TREATMENT OF FEMALES- thats a big problem , i know some friends and have seen as soon as a girl starts developing she can no longer do anything and in some families they think she is old enuff for marrige at 16

others she is just nothing , the munda is everything :(:(:(

2) some of the cornyness lol .............. i mean the guys with the elbow in elbow is a lil wierd or the hand holding but its funny and cute too

3) The obsessionm with money

4) the fakeness esp ladies who act like life is a seriel ie the bhabi and the nu and the sas

5) the drama the honor killings i mean come on so aginst Sikhi

yeah no. 2 is just plain weird. it freaks me out when freshies do it.

TBH, I dislike most things about Punjabi culture. I tend to stay away from it. I can't stay away from it completely as some Punjabi culture (like bhangra and dhol-playing) remind me of Punjab and it reaffirms my link with the land of Guru Ji.

the fact like they treat cultral ritualistic things as a "MUST DO" thing

i.e. when serving alcahol u must have four glasess even if there are like 3 ppl drinking becuase an odd number is BAD, what the hell is that craziness about

But when it comes to sikhi its total disregard!

and this really unhealthy obbesion for having boys.... reallly gets on my nerves
