Waheguru, this is so sad!! Damn missionaries at it again! :@

Heres a quick translation for those who cannot read devnagri script:

The Gutkas of Japji Sahib and Rehraas Sahib, which are revered in Sikh faith, are being disrespected by some people. They are making paper-bags for carrying groceries from paper of these Gutkas.

'Dainik Jagran' found hundreds of such paper-bags that had the paath of Japji Sahib printed on them. While it is evident it is printer waste, according to Sikh religion, even this waste paper is cremated with full rites at Goindwal Sahib Gurdwara.

There are many such papers like this in the market, which have Japji sahib and Rehraas Sahib paath printed on them. According to the information received, only those with permission from Sri Akal Takhat Sahib can print Gurbani related material. These paperbags in the market have got 'Sikh Missionary College, Ludhiana' and 'New Verma Printing Press, Jalandhar' imprinted on them. It is evident that gross negligence has been made at some point.

Harbhajan Singh, the Chairman of Sikh missionary college, Ludhiana said he will order an investigation in this matter. Action will be taken against those who are responsible for this mistake.

Upon contact, Harbhajan Singh, the Chairman of Sikh missionary college, Ludhiana said that it is simply not possible as proper care is taken in the process. That, Bani is given full respect is given while printing. But when the paper bags were shown to him, he informed the police and gave assurance of full investigation into the matter.

Gurcharan Singh Channi, the leader of Siromani Akal Dad Jalandhar area said if the reports are true then it is a matter of grave concern indeed. He said he will take this matter to Sri Akal Takhat.

It is worth mentioning again that only Sri Akal Takhat Sahib has the sole rights to print Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Saroops and Gutkas. Keeping in mind the purity and marayada associated with the process, nobody else has been given the permissino to print these Gutkas and Saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Despite this, some companies are actively engaged in business of publishing these Granths. This controversy has also arisen in the past because of this.

Does anyone have access to the Hukumnama issued by Sri Akal Takht on the printing of Gurbani? I think they released the Hukumnama around 2008.

Thanks

These rogue missionaries are at it again. The conclusion is that these phony missionaries are a fraud. They are in this vocation for money.

They have no concern for sikhism, gurbani and scriptures. They have demonstrated this by their activities.

Do not be taken in by the words of harbhajan singh. Missionaries are expert at lying. same missionary school brings out Phulwari magazine.

Son of the controller of this magazine is famous on the internet in abusing and disowning bani of Dasam pita.

Beware of these missionaries. This act of selling old Gutkas as waste paper is an anti sikh act. Please bring this to attention

of akal takhat quoting missionaries specifically.

Guru Pyareyo,

Waheguru jee ka khalsa waheguru jee kee fateh

Some facts

- The probable source from where these bag makers got the Pavitar Bani Gutakas are Waste Material Vendors who bought waste papers/ books etc. from the households etc.

- Though in Delhi and some cities, there is better awarness for handling the old Gutakas/ Gurbani quotes books and SGGS Jee as per the gurmat e.g. Angettha Sahib @ Gurudwara Majnu Ka Tilla Sahib (Delhi), Angettha Sahib sewa near Goindval Sahib, Angettha Sahib sewa in Khushal Pur (near Dehradun, Pounta Sahib Jee) but such awarness programme (keeping proper box for such stuff & deputing someone to carrying to the central place for the Agan Bhet etc.) need to carried out on very large scale.

- About printing and selling of Gurbani Gutakas etc. , although Akal Takhat Sahib Hukamnama is there but reality is different. Selling Nitname/ Sukhmani sahib and other Baanis Gutakas outside most of the historical gurudwara sahibs in India by the Shopkeepers, keeping Gutakas on a Table without proper cover or so is not a good way. Also, Sankot Mochan Shabads (similar like some hindu mythological way) is being available on these shops too.

Certainly, Panth Central Agencies i.e. SGPC, DSGPC needs to take an immediate call on such issues to stop such beadabis.

This is not probable. Because they found bags not a single bag made of Gurbani Gutkas. So its not possible that a household will give away 50-100 Gutkas as "waste" paper.

It is quite probable that the company who made such paper bags got the Gurbani Patras in bulk from the printer or the publisher (Sikh Missionary College Ludhiana)

My information proved to be correct.Person involved is editor of Phulwari. These people have no respect for Gurbani as they consider it as their business for making a living.

His son was notorious on the internet for name callin bani of Dasam Pita.

These missionaries are a curse on sikhi.

Ajit reports the printing press involved in this crime has been sealed after investigation by a two member team from Sri Akal Takht:

Many thanks for posting the above link from Ajit newspaper. Harjit singh missionary is brother of owner of Sikh

missionary college, Ludhiana. He is the man who takes out their magazine Phulwari.

His son is Birjot Singh. He is very active on internet doing malicious propaganda against Dasam Bani in very

dirty language.

Sikhs should understand that these missionaries are the biggest enemies of sikhism who are minting money

in the name of preaching whereas they are cutting roots of sikhism.
