Forgotten Heroes Of The Khalsa Panth

Recommended Posts

The lack of responses in this thread itself speaks volumes.

Faujis in India get a lot of perks after retirement, they have status within the village, a good pension some of the higher ranks are even given land for farming and plots to build homes. These Singh's knocked all this back by putting their Dharam first. Its our duty to care for these Heroes

Having an organization who are in partners with the missionary group from india who are responsible for creating anti-panthic soch authors and distorting sikh history time over time. Maybe that is the reason why some members like me stand away from such organizations and its work.

HA ha ha ha ha ...you are not only funny but also the type " DO NOTHING AND DONT LET OTHERS DO ANYTHING EITHER " ! Its shocking how helping the Dharmi Fauji has got anything to do with what you wrote. Its not Khalsa Aid that has put this thread on. The Sikhs in Panjab are under threat from Ravidassias, Rada Swamis,Noor Mahlias, Nirankaris and Christians and you slam other Sikhs.

Why dont you raise this with Khalsa Aid ? I bet you have done nothing for the Dharmi Faujis ? Also these Faujis probably drank, ate meat etc etc so does it mean we shouldnt help them...?

I hope Khalsa Aid reply to your comments. I wonder why we are in such a state, now i know after reading your extremely negative thread.

Fair enough, if you want to stand away from the organisation it's your choice. But tell me, who else is bothering to do something for many of the forgotten issues in the Sikh community and even non Sikh community.

I have been around the block a bit and one thing I can say is that when it comes to raising the profile of Sikh philanthropic issues, we have been embarrassingly limp. Whilst the Gurdwara committee raise £millions for building funds, very few Sikhs or Organisation appear bothered about rerouting the sangats daswand to real worthwhile causes. I have come across some great Mahapurshs who do some excellent sewa, I have seen their sewa with my own eyes and yet our own Sikhs won't contribute to these great humanitarian projects because of a difference in opinions or prejudices against the Maharpursh/group.

Sometimes I think it's just an excuse to not contribute anything!!!!

Bhai sahib, I do agree with you and the original poster regarding the dire urgent need to take care of our shaheed's family members. We are very far behind if compared with any other community. Maybe NeverForget84dotcom veer should post list of parivaars who need help. They can publish it on their website and then many sangataan can help such parivaars whenever they make trip to punjab (in my view that is much more effective way to help)..

I would go to punjab and give sewa to such parivaars by myself rather than handing over sewa to someone whom i never met and plus them supporting/partnering with some socialist/communist/scientologist type of missionary groups.

I tried to avoid replying on this thread.. chaalo.. Sorry for the negative reply..
