Does Calling Someone Veerji/Penji Mean Anything Nowdays?

so my sisters and my friends are really goodlooking they always call men their age veerji just to be safe but it seems that it doesn't matter to them because in few days they end up getting rishte from them (Veerjis)

what do you guys think? isnt it wrong?

if you call someone veerji you want them to see you as a penji why is it that it doesnt matter to people?

Its a joke these days. People hardly mean what they say, whether its guys or girls. Yes there might be a handful who are truthful, but the rest don't give 2 cents. Again, there will be differing opinions on this. Some will say its not good, others will say its fine because as long as you are not married everyone is veerji/bhenji. But fact remains, a good number of people go the other track, thereby turning this title (veerji/bhenji) into a joke.

I've noticed its more the married males/females call each other bhenji/veerji. I dont really hear single males/females call those that are also single. Or a male will call a married woman bhabhiji, and viceversa.

I think one should address a person by name + ji.

There is no need for Rishteydari, specially when you don't mean it.

Do you really think single boys or girls are looking for sisters or brothers ?
