India is our nation as our grandfathers shed their blood for its freedom. Our ancestors fought to protect human rights on this land. Don't alienate yourself from this country. It is our birthright and our history can prove that we have full right to claim the whole North India including punjab state from pakistan. Its just the matter of time.

However we need to change our ideology and should have non-judgmental personality. It is also applauding that how our youngsters voice for khalistan without any knowledge of our own history (our history goes beyond 1980's or 47's). If tomorrow someone come and try to brainwash these youth, i bet that they will fell for them because of the lack of knowledge. Our so called leaders who don't have knowledge about our history and yet blast on microphone about khalistan because they know "Khalistan" is the word that attracts sangat and brings fame and $.. Yes they are doing okay job but later on you see result such as Mohkam Singh joining Badal or other leaders joining police cat "Bittu".

Hatred is another thing that is holding us back and always earn us negative light no matter how good our intentions are. Nobody and not even sikh dharam likes hatred mindset. Most of the khalistani posts on our forum are full of hatred; it is natural of having hate against someone but keep it in control and convert that energy into something that will make other side feel uneasy and more guilty. For example; SikhsForJustice ppl are putting their energy into productive work and they are giving nightmares to Indian Government.

There are easy way and hard way.. easy way is short term plan and hard way requires us to gain knowledge and lots of patience.

Wrapped up the entire issue well.

Another thing is if we got our own state, something that even Sant Ji wasn't for or against, would we be able to govern it in our state of affairs? We can't even agree on one issue as a kaum how can we push further.

Hard way is the right way, we need to read and educate ourself and pursue the issue with intelligence.

Utmost goals as a kaum should be (in my opinion):

1) Everyone focus on her or his own jeevan

2) Become intelligent in political affairs and pursue your education to become contributing members of society

3) Keep rehit and strive to take khande da paul (amrit shako)

4) Unify the panth by pushing aside people who divide us juts like Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindranwale united the entire Sikh kaum. Even people who we think have good interest at hand end up doing harm over good.

If we can do this everything good will come running to us and everything will fall into its place on its own.

Too many brothers and sisters have shed their blood for Khalistan...its too late to turn back now...THE SIKH NATION WILL GET ITS AZAADI...OR DO WE NEED ANOTHER GENOCIDE TO WAKE US UP?....LONG LIVE THE SOLDIERS OF KHALISTAN!...LONG LIVE THE MEMORY OF ALL KHALISTANI SHAHEEDS!...YOUR BLOOD WILL NOT GO TO WASTE!...THE NEXT GENERATION WILL MAKE SURE OF THAT.....EVEN IF WE HAVE TO PICK UP THE GUN OURSELVES WE WILL DO SO...

To get Khalistan would be really difficult ... Hindustan has jets, nukes, ships, and submarines that rival even the United States. There are 940 million Hindus in India, and just 20 million Sikhs. We could wage a guerrilla war (in fact we have tried), but those are ugly for both sides.

We don't have powerful benefactors, like the Israelis have.

I don't want to sound like a wuss, but lets be realistic. I find this is the most prevalent viewpoint in Punjab as well.

We must dedicate ourselves to be as prosperous as possible. We already have it better off than most Hindus. If you live your life, help your family, remember the Gurus and shaheeds, you will have done all what the Sant ever wanted from a Sikh.

Events can turn quickly in the world these days. Many Indians of all religions are fed up with the central and state Governments, a recent report stated that one third of India wealth had been looted by its leaders and put in foreign accounts since 1947. there may be change where Sikhs can live in freedom in the future.

The Western intervention in Libya is because the UN wants to protect civilians from the Libyan Govt. I wonder if other Govts will think twice about massacering their cvilians in the future.

The West doesnt care about the Libyan People...it cares about the Libyan Oil!!...if the West really cared about the safety of civilians...they would of gone into Zimbabwe, Sudan, Somalia, Yemen, Bahrain, SAudi Arabia, Iran, Palestine, India, China, Burma, Sri Lanka, North Korea etc....all these countries and many more have commited atrocities against civilians in the past...yet the west turns a blind eye to it...why?...because either they are too powerful or they have no resources which the west would want to loot and plunder...

Although securing energy supplies is an important part of why the west is attacking libya, you also have to admit gaddafi made his own bed by standing as an anti-western figure and funding any group or regime who wanted to cause the west problems. Hindustan is real clever in the way they dont commit to anyone in physical terms (i.e. giving military support or attacking foreign countries far away from them) but at the same time trading, using diplomacy and propaganda to get people to not take them seriously as a threat and turn a blind eye to what they do.

    • The Mind is Jyot Saroop (Waheguru), but the mind is under the influence of five evils… Through Naam Simran( Rememberance), the mind will begin to detach from evil, and get back to its original form ( MANN TU JYOT SAROOP HEH)… Until the mind breaks free from the five evils, one will go through the cycle of paap and punn….which leads to Karma… Naam Simran destroys past karma, and prevents new karma coming into fruition… I did this, I did that… This non realisation of the Jyot Saroop gives rise to paap and Punn, which in turn gives birth to suffering and misery…
    • I agree we're not born with sin like the Christians think. Also I agree we have effects of karma. But Gurbani does state that the body contains both sin and charity (goodness): ਕਾਇਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਦੁਇ ਭਾਈ ॥ Within the body are the two brothers sin and virtue. p126 Actually, we do need to be saved. Gurbani calls this "udhaar" (uplift). Without Satguru, souls are liable to spiritual death: ਜਿਨਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਸੇ ਭਾਗਹੀਣ ਵਸਿ ਕਾਲ ॥ p40 Those who have not met Satguru Purakh are unfortunate and liable to death. So, yeah, we do need to be saved, and Guru ji does the saving. The reason Satguru is the one to save is because God has given Satguru the "key" (kunji): ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਹਥਿ ਕੁੰਜੀ ਹੋਰਤੁ ਦਰੁ ਖੁਲੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥ In the True Guru's hand is the key. None else can open the door. By perfect good fortune the Guru is met. p124
    • That's unfortunate to hear. Could you give any more information? Who was this "baba"? He just disappeared with people's money? Obviously, you should donate your money to known institutions or poor people that you can verify the need of through friends and family in Punjab.
    • Sangat ji,  I know a family who went Sevewal to do seva sometimes end of 2019. They returned last year in great dismay and heart broken.  To repent for their mistakes they approached panj pyaare. The Panj gave them their punishment / order to how t make it up which, with Kirpa, they fulfilled.  They were listening to a fake Baba who, in the end, took all the "Donations " and fled sometime over a year ago. For nearly 4 years this family (who are great Gursikhs once u get to know them) wasted time and effort for this fake Baba. NOT ONLY this one fam. But many, many did worldwide and they took their fam to do seva, in village Sevewal, city Jaitho in Punjab. In the end many families lost money in thousands being behind this Baba. The family, on return, had to get in touch with all the participants and told them to stop.  I am stating this here to create awareness and we need to learn from whom we follow and believe. It's no easy but if we follow the 3 S (Sangat, Simran and Seva) we will be shown the light. As I am writing this the family in question have been doing the same since 2008 onwards and they fell for this Baba... it is unbelievable and shocking.  This am writing in a nutshell as am at work on my break so not lengthy but it deserves a great length.  Especially the family in question, who shed light on youngsters about Sikhi 20 plus years!!
