Guru Nanak/God

So you are saying Maya is a completely different entity to God?

Just say If God is the creator of all and maya is bad, why did God create maya in the first place?

God seems to be on an ego trip, God wants us to praise him and if don't you will be punished (re-carnation, going to hell and other beliefs regarding punishment).

Everything is a huge contradiction.

i am not saying all this read gurbani you will find the same in gurbani... when we start putting points together we lost because gurbani says we could never understand gods game we can only love god why love god? because he is our resting place he is the ONLY ONE.. the is where we came from thats where we belong... its not contradiction!! its gods game that you and i cant understand!! our job is to read bani and love bani so we find peace

this explains it better

Dear brother, some questions can be answered by God alone, so lets us reach and ask Him. But then as the wise ones have said, that would be like a handfull of salt saying, I am going to enter the sea to see its depth. I think it is not difficult to imagine what happened then. The handfull of salt got dissolved and merged in the sea. The same would happen with our souls. Only those meet Him(through love and devotion), whom He wants....And meeting Him means unlimited bliss, happiness, peace and wisdom....... because that is what He is.... He is an akhoot bhandar of virtues.

Please let us never ever blame God, without first knowing Him actually. How can you say He seems to be on an ego trip? Know it for sure, we are the mughads, moorakhs, the agyanis, He is the only chatur syane.

Does a father needs his child`s praise? No. If the child praises his father it is because he loves and admires him the most, for him his father is the best. In that way we have to view Wahiguru, because He is our true Father, and He is the real Shanshah, Sache Patsha, the Emperor of emperors, the king of kings, as the bani says: Sache Sahiba, kya nahee ghar tere.... He is Bountifull, Merciful, Dayalu, Ooch Apaar Beant Soami.... Matchless.... He is the highest.... beyond comparison... beyond description...Perfect in all ways.... Spotless.... Inmaculate......words fail to sing His glories adecuately.

Excuse me to correct you. It is not your fault, How can a worm like us, know and try to understand the limitless. Having said that, you have to bear in mind, that He does not rewards or punishes, He only loves.

It is our behaviour, our karmas, that take us near Him or keep us away from Him. If He was to punish, which door could we then go, to ask for forgiveness. Please, never ever blame such a sweet and lovely being like Him, if you have even a penny of common sense, or even if you don`t have, but do not do so.

Reincarnation and punishment are due to your own karmas, not to Him. By loving suh a lovely being like Him, our true father, yes , you can get redemption from all these things; so how can you make such baseless accusations.

He is like the Sun, if you try to spit Him, it will fall on you, so be carefull.

A father always loves his child, but if he misbehaves, police will come and catch him, and reform or correct him according to his deeds and needs, his reqiurements. Some are o.k just by feeling shame at the police station, others are kept some days, others months or years... it depends all on that child`s misbehaviour, and as long he shows no signs of repentment, or to improve his bad conduct, he will just prolong his stay in the prison. Police is not bad, the judge is not bad, they are essential for enforcement of law, order and security. It is the infractors (we ), who are bad, by trespassing the laws of nature, so naturally, you have to be corrected, you can not be given a pat on your back.

And still the father is so lovely, that no matter after how much time the child comes back, he awaits him, with his arms wide open, to embrace him, so is our Wahiguru, but exceedingly infinte more gracefull, tender and lovely. He Himself comes to our human level as a Satguru, for that purpose, what else do we need?

So much love and care, and we dare to blame Him? Shame on us!

    • If relationship with Guru is strong, then kanga is done twice a day, and turban should never be taken off or put on like a hat, there is a lot wrong with that as it is against rehit! maryada is to take off every layer of turban/pagh/dumalla individually, and tie fresh turban each time!
    • the whole 'your husband/wife is chosen for you'/sanjog thing is real, it's just that a lot of people end up marrying the wrong person. they did not end up with the person that was meant for them. my friend, you should marry someone who you feel a connection with and love. there are millions of sikh girls, i'm sure you can find someone who aligns with your sensibilities and who you can truthfully say that you love. sikhi does not say anything against love marriages. you can also be in a loveless arranged marriage which is a safe option b/c both families are more inclined to keep the union intact. i was one of those people who was like meh, i guess i'll just get arranged to some sikh. well i finally started dating for the first time this year and i'm getting married to someone that i love and cannot even imagine leaving. i think it's better to have lost & lost than never loved at all. unfortunately, a lot of people confuse love w/ looks & lust. a lot of men go for the fittest girl they can find and think they won the jackpot or something. in reality, your partner should be like an extremely loved best friend. there's a reason why it's a fact that the most stable and long-lasting relationships started as friendships.  i also think a lot of women are petty and divorce over small reasons, but there's other terrible things like high cheating rates as well. that's why the divorce rate in the west is high. be careful out there.
    • andrew tate praises sikhi too & likes sikhs. his brother also donated to sikh families iirc. they just like any "alpha" religion and tbh islam is the most "alpha" in their eyes. islam is very good at promoting that image. but imo a real alpha man doesn't command respect by beating up his wive(s) or forcing them to wear a burqa. a real man will have his woman listen to him w/o raising a hand or his voice, and command respect by being respectful. he leads by example and integrity. that's true masculinity. you get the idea. + yes, it's definitely true that islam is growing rapidly and making massive inroads. strength in numbers + belief will do that. but rlly it's just because of the birth rate. a lot of them are muslim b/c it's their "identity" just like how a lot of young sikhs will say they're "culturally sikh" or whatever. there just aren't billions of sikhs who lambast their identity everywhere and have strict and linear rules like in islam. besides, the reality is that islam and its followers are some of the most morally bankrupt. you can see all the weird trans rules in iran, bacche baazi in afghanistan, visiting brothels, watching p*rn, p*dophilia what goes on behind the scenes in countries like uae & qatar, etc, and come to your conclusions. you can google all the stats yourself and see which countries do the most of these ^.
    • stop associating with hinduism, that's the absolutely worst thing you can do as a sikh. not sure if you noticed but the entire world looks down upon and spits at india & hindus, literally no one respects them and considers them weak and cowardly. literally 1+ billion of them but not perceived as a strong religion commandeering respect.
    • you wrote a whole lot but told us nothing. what exactly did you do wrong to make you feel this way?
