Hi, I wanted to create a topic in here as it's been on my mind a while. My parents never took me to a punjabi school etc when I was a kid (I missed out from the sounds of it) , so I shall learn through books/internet probably from a very basic level this summer as I can't read punjabi and when I've searched online I haven't quite found what i'm looking for. I would like a file explaining how to do ardaas properly, I'm not amritdhari, but I do my Nitnem and Rehras in English. I want to do ardaas everytime I'm leaving home etc and when the need requires me to do so. I would be greatful if someone could either post a link/file here with translations in order for me to do so. Thanks again sanjat ji :)

get the book miracle of ardas.

Ardass is heard from everyone and it can be for anything. it is the benti of a child to the father. have full faith that satguru ji is already giving you what you are asking for when you do ardass, and do the ardass with full concentration. it is up to satguru if that thing that is asked for will actually be given or not. be careful what you ask for, you just might get it.

Like Veer jee has said that ardaas is heard from everybody. But also remember Guru jee is giving you something, so what can you give back to guru jee? Well we read it everyday

there is a saying 'becarefull of what you ask, cause you may get it' . This may cause confusion among the people who do the ardass. They may do the ardass then end up being afraid if something bad may happen.

Does anyone know if one needs to have a little skill about ardass. Cause there is a saying ' becarefull of what you ask, because you just may get it'. Cause someone may end up doing ardass and then be a little afraid if they done it right or asked the right thing or not. Any answers please
