Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh

I am not sure this is exorcism but Sant Baba Isher Singh Rara Sahib and Suleman. Was a good example of this stuff.

Reincarnation

Suleman was a muslim pir and saw his daughter and a sadhu (Hindu) together romantically while he was in samaadhi and got angry and went looking for the sadhu to kill him. He couldnt find the sadhu and when he got home he burnt his daughter and a short while later his wife died of grief.

then he started doing bad things for money as he had ridhia sidhia.

after he died he was taken by jamdoot (servants of god that take the soul) to dharamrai (judgement) - took one year, beating him all the way. He describes what dharamrai looks like - 'beard white like the sun, skin red like molten copper'. Dharamraja tells him he has to go to kunbi narak until he learns his lesson, and then has to be a pret (ghost) for a thousand years.

Suleman asks how he will get mukti (forgiveness to be reincarnated into human form) - Dharamrai says that God will come to earth in the form of 10 Gurus, after some time when Sulemans sentence is finished there will Guru Nanak Dev ji's sant in Rara Sahib who will give him mukti.

Then he asks Dharamrai where the sadhu who slept with his daughter is as he wants revenge. Dharamrai says that he will be a boy called manmohan singh and you will recognise him when you see him. You can beat him, but you cant kill him, he will lead you to Sant Isher Singh.

Suleman says to Sant Isher Singh that he met Guru Nanak Dev Ji in mecca medina, where he was told he had to do what Dharamraja told him. He also says that he met Guru Gobind Singh Ji but not in detail - he was questioned by someone and suleman answered "I have already told you I met him."

Suleman says that people used to to pooja at his grave (muslims), and one day a boy urinated on the grave, suleman looked at him and recognised the sadhu he has been wiating for. He started attacking him, until he remembered Dharamrajas word, and let him go, when the boy became uncoinscious. The villagers quickly came and got him, doctors found nothing wrong - didnt know what had happened.

At first he cam to Hapur in someone elses body and then started speakin in manmohan singh, who was in Maharaji's sangat.

Maharaji found someone to have suleman as a baby that both suleman and the family agreed to and suleman went. First he refused to go to someones house coz they were rich, then when he agreed to this family he said that he would go but wouldnt sell newsparers ( that was his father to be's work)

A few weeks later Suleman turned up at Rara Sahib again, Maharaji asked him why he broke his word, Suleman said he didnt break it - it takes six months for the human to form and then he will go back because the pain was too much in the womb - written in Anand Sahib paat as well (mata ke udar meh pratipal kare).

Maharaji said ok, Suleman took Manmohans singhs body again and started living in rara sahib sangat as sevadar.

This is when one of those recordings was made that is on the net. This was made by balwant singh, and the transcript is also in the book.

This conversation you've heard on the recording. He seems a nice enough guy

7 months later Suleman was still there, Maharaji called him and again asked why he broke his word, Suleman said he was sorry, but wanted see Maharajis birthday before he went. Maharaji said no - the baby was ready.

Suleman replied that Mahraji could do anything, and that he could the delay the birth, Maharaji agreed.

11 months after his mother got pregnant, Suleman was born, after Maharaji refused another extension - saying it would to painful for the mother to wait any longer. He left his nishan on manmohan singh - his tongue was all spotty.

For 4 years after he was born Suleman could remember all that had happened to him - he also described what kunbi narak was like and what people had to do - some people were being burnt again and again - didnt really understand that bit coz his urdu is strange.

Theres a couple other stories about prets and how they got mukti through saptah paat, and extracts from Gurbani about pret/bhoot etc.

He described how prets possess people - 'like how tissue sticks to sweat on a body, the pret envelopes the human'. Prets are attracted to the smell given off by people who eat meat, eggs and drink alcohol, because their food is blood and meat - which they eat through animals.

Evil Spirits Flee in Terror from Gursikhs: Baraylee Smaagam 1959 & 61

By Prof. Thakur Singh

Translated by Admin www.tapoban.org

The July and August Smaagams used to take place in Baraylee but in 1959, the Smaagam took place in May. In this Smaagam's amrit sinchaar, a couple from Mainpuree was blessed a lot with spiritual ecstasy. Another amazing incident from this amrit sinchaar is the case of the woman attacked by an evil spirit. This woman was from Baraylee. When she appeared before the Punj Pyaaray, she told Jathedar Sahib, Baoo Mul Singh jee, "An evil spirit has possessed me but she could not enter this place. She remained outside the door." Baoo jee assured the woman that in this place no evil spirit could enter. Wherever naam is repeated then forget evil spirits, even Jamm Doot cannot enter. "Jaih sadhoo gobind bhajan keertan nanak neet|| Naa hou(n) Naih too(n) Naih chhoTih nikT na jaaeeoh doot"

Dharam Raja tells his Jamm-Doot the above that wherever saintly people are and where there is naam simran or keertan, don't go near that place. Otherwise, "neither I nor you can be saved".

Then Baoo jee told the woman that she should receive amrit and meditate on naam and all spirits would leave. When all the peshees had finished and the Bata was prepared, the aspirants came one at a time to receive amrit. When that woman's turn came, drops of amrit entered her and she was taught naam. As she began to jap naam, she screamed out "That spirit has run away!".

Another even more amazing incident is this: A very scary looking woman, who would cause children to run away just by looking at her, was brought to the Baraylee Smaagam in 1961. This was a very superstitious and irrational woman. She was prepared in order to present her before the Panj Pyaaray. When it came her turn to be Peshed, she stopped in front of the door. She would not go in. When even a number of people together could not drag her in, then the Jathedar of the Punj Pyaaray, Baoo Mul Singh jee came out with his unsheathed sword and told the woman to come in. At this, that horrible, scary, witch-like woman glared with red eyes at Baoo jee and lunged at Baoo jee screaming "I won't leave you either!"

Baoo Jee challenged the spirit possessing this woman and said "Fine, I'm ready. You leave this woman and come into me." The spirit replied "I won't leave her" and she lay down in front of the door.

Sree Maan Baoo jee motioned to some Singhs who then picked up the woman and brought her inside. Upon entering, she quietly sat down. She was held and given amrit. When the Punj Pyaaray were imparting Gur-Mantar, she stubbornly resisted for some time but then she could not resist the sound of Gur-Mantar and began to loudly cry out "Leave me alone! Leave me alone! I'll leave! I'll leave her!" Baoo jee replied "You had said you wouldn't leave this woman…." The spirit then exclaimed, "I was never going to leave her, but what can I do? Now I'm dealing with BrahmGyaanees…" Saying this, the evil spirit left and the woman came to her senses and began to recite Gur-Mantar.

So at Baraylee, because of Baoo jee, such incidents always occurred. In these years a Smaagam took place in Kota Rajasthan where under the Jathedaaree of Baoo Mul Singh jee another similar incident took place.

Those sants and mahapurash who wish to remain gupt cast out these maladies without any tamaasha and raula gaula. It should always be done in this way IMO. There is no need for the spirit to begin talking through the unfortunate person who is sick.

Have you even listened to the tape yet? Have you research on suleman story? If no, your opinions does not hold any water. It's okay to be new to Sikh theology/ saint mysticism in Sikhism and ask questions , but it's another thing of just spewing out baseless claims and make rules as you go along. I don't mind discussing this constructively as long as one will leave their subjective mindset behind and bring out some references to back up your claim. Half a knowledge of sikhi concepts is more dangerous than no knowledge at all.

Chill out internet warriors. I'd control your tongues before you get carried away and say something you regret.

I stand by my assertion that there is no need for the afflicted to have to "play" infront of anyone. Through Naam Simran and adherence to "sucham" (well, Sikhi basically) is the best way to rid yourself of these problems. Whether that makes anyone uncomfortable is their problem. Although if sants and mahapurash have their own way of doing things, then that's their decision and I won't question their wisdom or abilities in getting rid of these problems.

To suggest that because someone who doesn't wish to see the afflicted put through the ordeal and humiliation of channelling the evil that is inside them, is somehow wrong is just ludicrous. As for Suleman, I have no doubt what Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji did was true and accurate. Therefore, I modify my original assertion about "sants and mahapurash wishing to remain gupt". I guess I let my ego get in the way and it was in no way a slur on Baba Ji, whom I've respected since childhood. We all know what happens to people who do nindya of sants and trust me I'm not that person.

But there is more than one way to skin a cat, as it were. This is my final statement on the matter.

:fairfight:

oh yeah - give examples then ?

Yeah, nice try. Jog-on my friend.

These situations can be scary for someone reading about them let alone experiencing them. I have for some reason always been afraid of ghostly things, this includes spooky movies, stories etc and reading about this incident with Baba Ji and Suleman many years ago helped give me an insight into why ghosts/spirits may exist. In the case of Suleman, if this had not been played out in public then numerous people, including me would have still be non the wiser about these things.

I appreciate your point and whilst your argument does ring true, surely the priority in cases like these should be the unfortunate person who is under the influence of these nefarious spirits, demons, whatever you want to call them? The morbidly curious disbelievers within the sangat who want to see something unusual and scary should not have their curiosity satiated at the mental and physical expense of the cursed individual who is almost having to "perform" in-front of an "audience".

But like I said these decisions are made by greater, more knowledgeable souls than I, and I'm sure they have valid reasons that I simply cannot fathom. This is just my opinion.
