Ironically Babbu Mann released a short track before the Panjab Elections which can be seen here

,but as you can see from the newspaper picture he himself is doing what he talks about in the song.

The hearts of the Sikh Nation which opened up its hearts to Babbu Maan today stand broken & us of yet we have no explanation for his actions.Sadly it seems he has turned his back what he stood for & has began loosing the respect of the Sikh Nation forever.

as a HUGE HUGE HUGE babbu maan fan and a open KHALISTANI, i cannot believe what im seeing, there was rumours of this, but to see it like this is saddening. People like babbu maan are a hope for the youth of panjab/haryana to educating them and becoming sympathetic towards pushing for khalistan and rejecting hindutva groups and fake babas with their deras. BTW in the short promo song on the @sikhworld tv post, who the "bapu" that hes singing about? surely hes not referring to that disgusting skinny gujarati is he? because hes openly cussed gandhi on many many ocassions. something fishy about all this, hes NOT a sellout, which makes this all too much to swallow, even alot of non-bhangra listening sikhs love him too.

His sikhi stance and pro-Shaheed stance- i'm not sure how much of that is heart-felt or clever marketing, trying portray himself as the controversial, rebellious 2pac type character, standing against the system.

Let's face it, this rebellious stand has given him more success than the wannabe pretty-boy panjabi love song singer like 100's of others. (which he started out as, don't forget - "one night stand song".. disgusting).

So obviously he will continue that persona for fame and money. is it heart-felt? doubt it very much.

its good to do an appeal once, as he's got alot of youth support.. but after that tell him to do one....

personally i think he's after the money.. politicians know his youth support base and will do anything to sweeten him up for votes... whereas sikh jath bandhi's got nothing to offer him other than a youtube video.

it's like that major sandhu.. one min pro sikhi, next dancing with girls again...

without tarnishing everyone with the same brush (there may be exceptions of course).. but most galakhaars are just prostitutes of society, they will sing and dance where called for money and hit the flavor of the week.

This guy is poison, has done more damage to Sikhi then helped it. Question for his "fans", do you think his songs in general are pushing youth towards Sikhi, or towards the exact opposite things of what Sikhi stands for? His songs are full of kaam, krodh, lobh, moh, and ahankaar.
