Keeping the awareness up of what Darshan Ragi did is not a waste of time and we should learn from history that Satguru made it very clear to the Sikh sangat not to associate with Baba Ram Rai, who also was excommunicated. What i don't agree with is the slander toward Darshan Ragi. The Sikhs should make every single person aware of Darshan Ragi's excommunication. As Sikhs it is our duty to do it. But when we slander him, then we are no better than him and it actually makes him look in the right.

He has dig his grave, but he continues to think he has not and for that matter Sikhs have to tell others that he has been excommunicated. We can focus on ourselves and still accomplish the goal of making others aware of his actions. The narrow minded comes out when we choose to slander him. And more positive parchar is very much needed in the Panth. The youth need to become less rigid and let their anger not take over.

Best thing to do is make other aware of him and spread positive parchar to the sangat. Darshan Ragi wins over naive Sikhs by first giving them a dose of Satguru's teachings, with a hint of manmat and once hes got them hooked he reveals to them that Sri Dasam Granth Sahib ji Maharaj is slandering your Guru. He doesn't go straight to the anti-gurmat parchar because that puts a person on their defensive. Instead he butters them up and then slowly comes out the anti-gurmat parchar in full force.

Sikhs that want to take up the seva to shut him up should take up a similar method, without using his decieving methods. Go straight to gurmat parchar where you're telling Sikhs how to start doing more paath (explain why paath is done), how to make it easier to follow rehat and whose katha to listen too and how listening to and reading Gurbani has a positive effect on us. YOu got to look at what age group the sangat is and where they will be facing the best problems in their lives. If it's an older sangat with parents, then explain to them how to get rid of stress from work, kids and regular householder stuff. If it's a younger crowd, then explain how to concentrate on school, stay in good sangat, how paath helps them and how to deal with the constant pressure from the world around them to change into what others want.

In order to do all of this, first we have too get our jeevans in order. By slandering darshan ragi, you are lowering your jeevan and letting darshan ragi take you and others further from Sikhi, which is Darshan Ragi's main goal. So your actually walking into his plan when you don't even know it.
