Twisted Islamo-Facist Pakistani Drama About Sikhs 1947

Why weren't any muslim's touched in Maler Kotla? No doubt that there were bastards on our side that went against Gurmat tenets.

It may just be my observation, that when muslims pick a fight and end up getting whooped they start whining about how the fight wasn't fair even though they picked it. Am not talking about the common muslim but there leadership.

Both the Muslim and the Hindu leadership at the time had a blurry foresight of the future. Hence they fell to the oldest trick of the Brits, Divide and Conquer. Nor India or Pakistan can ever come close to being superpowers thus they will have no influence in world affairs and will always be treated as second class citizens. But if they would have rallied with the sikhs not to divide the tactical land mass we would be a force not to be messed with. If they hadn't fallen for the brits tricks we would all be living in harmony just like during the sikh raj. Just my observation. I stand to be corrected.

Sri Nankana Sahib was 70% Muslim in 1947, the Sikhs were about 20%. There was a great massacre of Sikhs, here, as the Baloch Military took an active part in shooting Sikhs, women and children included.

You are most probably right, doing a google search it seems so. But thats distt. wise not the actual town/city. But still it seems majority muslim. I was just stating what my pops told me by speaking to the residents who were there prior 47, We all know the mass populace was not highly educated or had access to motor cars/bikes and so did not see the whole picture of the town in those days so they just told their story, of what they saw. If a young person in 1947 saw in his mohalla majority Sikhs as it would have been maybe he thought the whole town was like that.

they were untouched coz of the old promise i believe, coz muslims of malerkotla were the only ones who stood against the executions of the 2 lil sahibzadas of the king of kings

Also I would like to point out the lack of disloyality the muslims of Malerkotla showed to the Sikhs in the 80s / 90s by joining the Indian punjab police and other paramilitary terrorist forces to kill separatists and harm their families. I believe the mass murderer of Sikh youths the dog Mohammad Izhar Alam also comes from Malerkotla. Why sant samaj sat in support of the beast alam shows they cant be trusted.

Sikhs are too kind for their own good then get stab in the back years later by people they helped. When will the kaum learn to look our for its own first and look after the long term geo-political interests of the Sikhs so that they flourish in countries they face being wiped out (afghanistan, pakistan) as first priority.

This is why Pakistan cant be trusted their sunni/wahaabi mullahs want to wipe all non-muslims and minority muslim sects out. Sikhs should start openly make contact with China as they do not have any interest in harming our faith rather more it would suit their interests to have Sikhs on their side against the Indian Union and dangers from islamo-fascist mullahs from pakistan.

West London Singh

Rather than patronise people why not come up with the facts and figures. Amritsar city was never majority Muslim. Muslims were 47.8% in 1941 at a time when the census was heavily skewed against the Sikhs as the Sikhs and Hindus were in the throes of the non-cooperation movement and the Muslims having a Unionist government in charge were able to massage the census figures.

...

alam is from kashmir, but he tried to get elected from malerkotla. BTW Sant Samaj opposed his candidature from the very offset.

This is an interesting discussion but marred by people how think they know more but cannot back their statements with facts.

Thats west london singh for you.

Proactive that is a very informative post. You have brought a excellent point to the forum, about why the need for pakistan if the muslims were still economically subservient to the sikhs.

that guy iqbal, also used this as a platform to call for muslims to accept pakistan, that they would be free of the economic supremacy of the non-muslims.

    • Umm, that's totally irrational, bro. There are plenty of prakash-dara Singhs in Punjab (less than we'd like, but still plenty). No one cares that you are sabat soorat. It isn't 1986. You can walk around in chola, kurta-pajama, or jeans. Whatever. If you want the look @dallysingh101 is referring to, just go into a cheap clothing shop (not a Western-style mall) and buy some shirts for 250 rupees or a track suit for 2000 rupees. You'll get the cheap stuff made in some sweatshop in Bombay.
    • The Mind is Jyot Saroop (Waheguru), but the mind is under the influence of five evils… Through Naam Simran( Rememberance), the mind will begin to detach from evil, and get back to its original form ( MANN TU JYOT SAROOP HEH)… Until the mind breaks free from the five evils, one will go through the cycle of paap and punn….which leads to Karma… Naam Simran destroys past karma, and prevents new karma coming into fruition… I did this, I did that… This non realisation of the Jyot Saroop gives rise to paap and Punn, which in turn gives birth to suffering and misery…
    • I agree we're not born with sin like the Christians think. Also I agree we have effects of karma. But Gurbani does state that the body contains both sin and charity (goodness): ਕਾਇਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਦੁਇ ਭਾਈ ॥ Within the body are the two brothers sin and virtue. p126 Actually, we do need to be saved. Gurbani calls this "udhaar" (uplift). Without Satguru, souls are liable to spiritual death: ਜਿਨਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਸੇ ਭਾਗਹੀਣ ਵਸਿ ਕਾਲ ॥ p40 Those who have not met Satguru Purakh are unfortunate and liable to death. So, yeah, we do need to be saved, and Guru ji does the saving. The reason Satguru is the one to save is because God has given Satguru the "key" (kunji): ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਹਥਿ ਕੁੰਜੀ ਹੋਰਤੁ ਦਰੁ ਖੁਲੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥ In the True Guru's hand is the key. None else can open the door. By perfect good fortune the Guru is met. p124
    • That's unfortunate to hear. Could you give any more information? Who was this "baba"? He just disappeared with people's money? Obviously, you should donate your money to known institutions or poor people that you can verify the need of through friends and family in Punjab.
    • Sangat ji,  I know a family who went Sevewal to do seva sometimes end of 2019. They returned last year in great dismay and heart broken.  To repent for their mistakes they approached panj pyaare. The Panj gave them their punishment / order to how t make it up which, with Kirpa, they fulfilled.  They were listening to a fake Baba who, in the end, took all the "Donations " and fled sometime over a year ago. For nearly 4 years this family (who are great Gursikhs once u get to know them) wasted time and effort for this fake Baba. NOT ONLY this one fam. But many, many did worldwide and they took their fam to do seva, in village Sevewal, city Jaitho in Punjab. In the end many families lost money in thousands being behind this Baba. The family, on return, had to get in touch with all the participants and told them to stop.  I am stating this here to create awareness and we need to learn from whom we follow and believe. It's no easy but if we follow the 3 S (Sangat, Simran and Seva) we will be shown the light. As I am writing this the family in question have been doing the same since 2008 onwards and they fell for this Baba... it is unbelievable and shocking.  This am writing in a nutshell as am at work on my break so not lengthy but it deserves a great length.  Especially the family in question, who shed light on youngsters about Sikhi 20 plus years!!
