Today, This Very Moment...

This is a historic moment in Sikh history when the entire Panth is awake and united. We are living history this very moment while you are reading this. No matter where we are, no matter what part of the world, no matter what phase of our life, childhood, youth or old age, no matter what stage of our life, high school, college, university, job or retired, no matter what level of spirituality we are at, haircut, keshdhari, amritdhari, no matter how much we have progressed in our GurSikhi Rehit. Today, this very moment, we all stand united shoulder to shoulder, across the globe, beyond the geographical barriers of travel distances and of time zones. Today, this very moment, we all feel proud of the Guru's lion who is not ready to beg for mercy or for life, rather dares a vicious enemy adamant on ending his life. Today, this very moment, we feel an uncontrollable inner force and overflowing passion asking us for once come forward and do something for our nation, our community, and our Sikhi self-esteem. Today, this very moment, we can hold our heads high and actually show the world what a true Sikh is, thanks to Bhai Rajoana.

"Beant Singh was killed on 31 August along with 17 others by a suicide bomber identified as Dilawar Singh. Rajoana was convicted of acting as a back-up suicide bomber should Singh have failed."

I don't see anyone mentioning these innocents, surely they can't all have been bad, how would we feel if 18 Sikhs had been blown up, I know the arguments of thousands of innocent Sikhs killed but that does not make it right. I don’t suppose this post will stay up long but put yourself in the shoes of the families of these innocents
