Yes we do have Free-will.

But 'hukamey andar sab ko bahar hukam na koi', meaning everything and everyone is under the Governing Divine Will of His Hukam. Nothing and no-one falls outside of this.

The easiest way to look at it- is that Free-will is our God-given ability to take steps and make decisions that we are faced with.

But all of this free-will and created karma come under the Governing Umbrella of Hukam, so Hukam still oversees everything.

It's his Hukam that has bought y

ou on this forum, but it is your free-will that helps you progress towards him by learning and asking on this forum

So Waheguru only brought us to this forum but I'm the one learning?

For example:Im in a candy store.I steal a candy.

Is it waheguru a hukam for me to go into the candy store but my free will to steal a candy?

If its like that then it seems as if Waheguru isn't as powerful as I thought.Waheguru should be controlling me not to steal.Or could it be its Wahegurus hukam to steal it?

The encounters that come your way on the path of life are because of Hukam.

But the choices and options that you make and take are your Free-will.

The kid can be in a cnady store, but his free-will actions and karma dictate the consequences he faces further.

If it was All hukam without any free will, then there would not be much point would there ?

Now the big question is, Will we put our hand into boiling water. Its god's will/hukam or our choice.

I believe it's Waheguru putting our hand in boling water.

Another question:Does Waheguru know everything we do from the moment we get the idea or is he the one who made the idea?Even if the idea is bad?

This thing is hard to sort...

On one side we say every thing happens according to the will of GOD

n on other side it is said... a person is judged by the deeds he does.. two contradicting statments...

Now if we look for Free-will.... - if a person is free then the statement "every thing happens according to the will of GOD" will be false... but almost in all granths... beat bible, gita, SGGS g.... everywhere it is mentioned.. Ek patta v Waheguru de hukam bina nahi hilda....

Eh ta mainu v samajh ni aunda... two contradicting statments :wow: if we think again again we will start questioning the God for what he is :stupidme:
