Some Sikhs In Kenya Caught Up In The Somalian Terrorist Attack?

As some of us know there is a large indian population in kenya and its one of the destination that british indians go to. There are many kenyan punjabi tharkhan Sikhs who are quite well off living there... I saw a sky news article where someone with a sikh name mentions he was shot at by the Somalian Islamic terrorists at the shopping mall.

It seemed these muslim terrorists were deliberately targeting and killed non-muslim kids, women and men but may have also killed some muslims in the process.

Anyone have more info regarding if they have friends family there and what they are saying about the situation?

I could only watch in horror as my son missed a bullet by an inch as my daughter pushed him and herself down. I was trying to pull down the little boy who got shot instead of my son. Both my kids were hurt but are thankfully ok. I'm sorry I'm not taking any calls. It's traumatic repeating the story over and over again..

Satpal Singh, who was in a cafe when the attackers struck, said he ran downstairs before he was shot near the exit.

"A Somali guy shot at me," he said. "He was carrying a rifle, an AK-47."

They properly targetted non-Muslims. Muslims were let off, they are said to have placards in Arabic and the ones who could read it were let off.

The correspondent in Nairobi for the Economist, Daniel Howden told the BBC he spoke to one man with a Christian first name but a Muslim-sounding surname who managed to escape the attackers by putting his thumb over his first name on his ID.

However, the man told Mr Howden that an Indian man standing next to him who was asked for the name of the Prophet Muhammad's mother was shot dead when he was unable to answer.

Yup they were targeting innocent non-muslim civilians only but anyone who ran away without them finding out if they was muslim or not was also shot at.

Just saw a graphic picture that i cant really paste on here of 3 Sikhs murdered (a young lad, a woman and an elderly woman) all appeared to have gunshot wounds to head and body. Possibly more sikh victims of this yet again act of cowardly muslim terrorists.

This is bad news and a wake up call for Sikhs not only for kenya but for lands where there are large concentrations of mentally deranged muslims the wahaaabi sunni salaafi sort.
