Sikhs Attacked In Gujarat And Delhi

Tensions Rise as Multiple Attacks Launched Against Sikhs Across IndiaBy: Sikh24 Editors

GUJARAT, India (October 8, 2013)News reports of Sikhs being attacked in Gujarat and Delhi have created shockwaves in the Sikh community living worldwide. As per media reports, a Sikh family living in Loria village of Bhuj district of Gujarat was attacked by a mob yesterday. Four male members of the Sikh family were left critically injured and were admitted to a local district hospital.

In a statement, one of the injured, Amandeep Singh said that at least 30 armed men had attacked him and his family members who were sowing crops during the day. According to him, several shots were even fired in the air. Along with Amandeep Singh, the brutal attack also injured Angrej Singh, Jaswinder Singh and Harpreet Singh. All four were admitted under intensive care.

Amandeep Singh alleged that he doesnt know what may have instigated the mobs. He alleged that the attackers wanted them to leave the farms and return to Punjab. Amandeep Singhs family has been living in Gujarat for over five decades and they were allotted the farming land back in 1960. It should be noted that the plight of Sikh farmers came to light recently when they blamed the local Government for refusing to allow them to purchase land.

In another incident, a Sikh family in the Rohini area, Sector 3, Delhi, was attacked by a group of 7-8 young men in what seems to be a well-planned attack. The attackers brutally injured an elderly Sikh lady causing jaw injuries. They used a sharp blade to slit her wrist, but luckily she has survived the attack.

Her husband was also brutally injured. The elderly Sikh man was held from his beard and his turban was removed. The attackers allegedly kicked him and his turban.

They used racial slurs to abuse the elderly Sikh husband and wife. The attackers alleged that they are going to repeat 1984 once again as the Sikhs have forgotten their past carnage in the City.

The main attacker, who was named Mukesh, is said to have good relations with the local police SHO and a local judge or Rohini court. He is said to have carried out similar attacks on Sikhs and others in the same neighborhood. Due to his political influence, no case has yet been registered against him.

Guru sahiban's made Sikhs into lions and commanded them to always be armed and ready to fight and die for their beliefs..

Free people (like the Sikhs are meant to be) have been tamed for too long by the corrupt political legislation making muppets in power.

I have faith Waheguru will send his warriors to break the mental and physical chains of oppression.

This is what we were afraid would happen. Those poor farmers who spent decades working on their farms are now being intimidated into leaving using gangster tactics by these Gujus. If they leave, they lose everything, if they don't leave they will be beaten, harassed and at worse be killed. When finally water surpasses the head and the Sikh tolerance is finished, the Sikhs pick up arms to fight back, then the Indian media will jump at Sikhs and accuse us of being "separatist"

The voice for Khalistan will grow,

The whole world must know,

We Sikhs must unite,

Continue the fight,

One Panth,

One Guru Granth,

Eventually Khalsa will rule,

To to think otherwise is being a fool,

So Sikhs everywhere,

Spread the Sikhi,

Encourage your family and friends to embrace the Khalsa way,

So everyone will have peace in their lives every day.

Raj Karega Khalsa,

SAADH BACHAN ATLAADHAA

Sant Ji says each village should have one motorcycle and 3 pistols but did we listen?

true, In India Sikhs need to protect themselves. A Sikh's weapon is not for attacking but for defending. The last 18 or so years Sikhs have become very weak. And it's not coincident that simultaneously Sikhs have become less observant of Sikhi. Our Shakti comes from following Guru Jee's hukams in the form of Rehit Maryadha and one who does Bhagti because Bhagti vich hi Shakti hai. Sikhs need to come back to Sikhi that is the only thing that will strengthen us.

    • The fact that this guy threw away his political career in order to marry her is example number 72,602,308 of how desperate singhs have become. (If you want to call this "trim singh" a "singh".) How thirsty and pathetic can one be? I have noticed a trend of somewhat successful singhs gladly settling down with women who few other people want (because of a tarnished reputation, or because they are way past their "sell-by" date, etc.). Usually, when these women were younger and in demand, they would have never considered a singh. But after it becomes obvious that they are struggling to settle down (because of their various issues) and are getting old, they are happy to settle for a simp with a pagh as long as he has some status/money.   This Bola guy probably thought to himself: "I wear a turban (and can't do a decent job tying it), and I am overweight and kind of ugly. But somehow a girl is talking to me! Isn't this amazing?! I should marry her!! Who cares if it kills my career? It will totally be worth it!!!"
    • 1. She looks much worse these days with her hair cut shorter 2. This whole story is really depressing. THREE thirsty Singhs basically had their lives ended or ruined. THREE thirsty Singhs. The real story is how desperate many Singhs are. I can't decide which of the three Singhs in the story is the most pathetic. 3. I'm not sure what to believe, but it seems like a real tragedy in any case 4. There is no excusing the behavior of Gagandip Singh and Harinder Shoker. But is it wrong to point out that they probably wouldn't have sunk to such depths if they weren't so thirsty and desperate for women? It reminds me of those stories of incel white kids going crazy and killing people.
    • Probably people who live in areas with relatively large numbers of Sikhs (near a major gurdwara, for instance). But in general, I'd say educated whites are the most likely to have an awareness of Sikhs.
    • No (unless they live near the White Sikh headquarters in New Mexico).   While Sikhs are a tiny minority compared to Punjabi Sikhs. Most of the white Sikhs are people who were hippies in the 60s and 70s when eastern spirituality was a big thing and they somehow came into contact with "yogi" Harbhajan Singh or other white Sikhs. As far as I am aware, white Sikhs are not really passing Sikhi on successfully to their children/grandchildren. Once that old generation is gone, white Sikhs will probably have an even more negligible presence.
