By the way I will tell you something even funnier. I had visited Durgiana Mandir just once in 1999 when I was still not a Sikh and was cleanshaven back in the days before taking Amrit. Its not just a copy of Sri Darbar Sahib but the Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu as well. They have fake caves and water inside to give the feeling of the real Vaishno Devi temple which is all the way up in the mountains.

The Durgiana Mandir was built by the Mahants that were removed by the Sikhs during the Gurdwara reform movement in the 1920's.The corrupt Mahants had taken over many historic Gurdwaras during the time of Brtish. They installed idols, smoked, carried out rapes and installed Hindu scriptures. It was one such rape at Nankana Sahib that lead to the Nankana Sahib Saka when Sikhs peacefully went to remove the Mahant. It feels as if our Gurdwaras and institutions are in the hands of the modern day Mahants with t British role being replaced by the Indians.
