No surprises since India has become pro-Capitalist since 90's while India buys military equipment from Americans now.

Of course now all American companies outsourcing jobs to India, ties between USA & India is stronger than ever before. I think UK is jealous of this relationship and now they're going out their way to please Indians to win them back.

Anyway, point is that if you want support from the west, then you have sell out to them. As of right now, there's no reason why the West will support Sikh issues that will negatively affect India.
