We don't need more laws. But I wish ppl would understand difference between insulting an idea vs hurting sentiments. Like u said ideas can be ridiculed but not persons. Well religious founders are persons or sacred personalities. To some ppl they r as real and closer than family. How hard is it to practice tolerance? To respect others feelings and sentiment? This used to be a common moral.think about it, how did charlie hebdo drawing start a conversation? Instead it created tragedy, hatred and is now being used to create more laws against free speech.it created a standoff like the is real/Palestine conflict where both sides won't admit there wrong.

When u insult a prophet, it isn't about the religion being right or wrong. It becomes about lack of honor, dignity. And respect. Onlythe insult is remembered and how to retaliate.

This entire "hurting religious sentiment" stuff sounds like cry baby stuff to me. Big whoop if someone makes fun of your prophet guru and what not, you can't force someone to respect your religon. You certainly arent earning any respect by whinging and having laws made. Where do we draw the line anyway? Tomorrow a million followers of a sports team will say it hurts their sentiments when people insult their sports team that they're die hard fans of, make laws to protect their feelings too?

And inciting terrorism is a crime for good reason, hurting someones feelings doesn't really compare to radicalising someone and encouraging them to kill innocents. We all knows it happened as well, many times.
