I recently purchased a set of sanchiyaan in roman of siri guru granth sahib ji maharaj, I was wondering if it is possible to read along while listening to, to perform a sehj paath, is that okay according to maryada?

It is absolutely acceptable to read along with a recording to get better acquainted with proper pronunciation and Gurbani structure. The ideal state is to be able to do paath yourself (and then fully understand and follow, but that comes with Guru Sahib's Kirpa), but this is an excellent beginning step.
