Young Singh Fights Back Against Racist Bully

Recommended Posts

The truth will come out in the end, it always does.

I have seen the longer version and the Sikh is telling the white guy to get down on his knees. I have been in a similar position where the aggressor was told to get down on his knees and apologize. In that incident the aggressor actually got down on his knees and apologized. Bullies need to be embarrassed. Obviously, this white guy thought he was a tough guy and can knock out the skinny Sikh and hold his status of being a bully and embarrass the Sikh even more among others. Stupid bully don't even know how to punch. The Sikh was obviously skilled in fighting as he told the bully to punch him, he took a step back and raised his hands from his sides without showing to be in an offensive stance. Fighting doesn't solve anything, but in this case it did solve the problem. Good on the Sikh to embarrass this bully and not stop after knocking him out to the ground in one punch. Also that's a tough punch to throw, from the inside and knocking the person out. To get enough force built up from the inside is difficult, especially when you and the opponent are pretty much chest to chest. .

The English guy's body language was overtly aggressive as he was squaring up. It was the calm before the inevitable storm. Is that not obvious from the video? He was winding up to take a swing at the Singh (or bundle him to the floor and ground 'n' pound him MMA style as he tried to do in the video yet the Singh managed to keep his footing and sidestepped it).

Had Singh walked away after administering a couple of punches I can guarantee the other kid would've been up with a second wind, and tried to settle matters whilst his blood was still up.

The General Zod dialogues were probably a bit unnecessary though, lol. A bit too Hollywood for my liking.

Maybe it's a case of provocation, provoke the Gora verbally then film him when he strikes out and then shout how racist the white man is.

India TV sure loves showing how racist we white people are.

They sure do, they hop onto the bandwagon pretty quick when Sikhs in the west face problems, yet keep fairly quiet on their own treatment of Sikhs. Good post.

Lol how do you know hes a racist bully?

This is the first im hearing that the "bully" was racist.

What ??? :huh2:

For several days now the internet's had about 700 news aticles from about 700 news sources from several countries describing the Sikh boys actions as a 'blow to racism'. And yet this is the "first" you're hearing of it ???? :omg: Have you been in a coma for the last week ?

Now, I'm not saying racism definately had something to do with it. I wasn't there so I can't know for sure. But, with the entire world wide web calling the incident a fight against racists for the past few days I can't for the life of me fathom how you (KhoonKaBadlaKhoon) and S4NGH have just heard that allegation for the "first" time.

Has the boy or any witnesses said it was due to racism? Or are people just saying the bully was racist simply because he was white?

And to be honest, I didn't pay much attention after the first day or two, brushed it off as a common after school fight.

Did anyone here know know him?

Did you ever care to think that this sikh kid might be holding all tauntings for weeks or months or years and finally lashed it while defending himself??

With all of you pretending or posting your opinions, have your kid go thru the bullying and you will know how hard your life will be.

So if we want to assume something it has to be what you believe in? I give the Singh props, but I'm not going to assume anything.

    • Whatever problems the Afghan Sikhs have or Punjabi Sikhs have, it's much better to support them than the Muslims.
    • So, are you saying Guru ji isn't God? Or are you saying the British encouraged this belief?
    • Part of the problem is the hostilities between India and Pakistan. If the border were open, Amritsar would easily become a huge trading city. Secondly, the National Highways Authority of India is constructing a new 6-lane expressway from Kashmir, through Amritsar/Jalandhar/Ludhiana to Dehli which will be part of the Ludhiana-Delhi-Kolkatta Industrial Corridor.  Maps of the New Silk Road show Kolkata as a key part of the "road". The Punjab to Kolkata expressway and rail connections will fulfill the ability to hook up to the New Silk Road.  In addition, while crossing to Pakistan via AH1 (Asian Highway 1) is difficult, India does connect to AH1 on the other side, towards the East. Finally, Punjab can trade with the world via Mundra port in Gujurat. Rail to Mundra, then sea onwards. Dubai is very close with a free port. If you send products to Iran, there are ground links onward to Europe.
    • Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. Gurbani isn't a 1428 page rulebook, like Leviticus or the Vedas: ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁੰਨ ਪਾਪ ਬੀਚਾਰਦੇ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਾਝਹੁ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ The Simritis and Shastras discriminate between charity and sin, but know not the essence of the Real Thing. Without the Guru, they know not the essence of the Reality, know not the essence of the Reality. Anand Sahib.
    • You're confusing two different things: One is merely adding starch to a turban to get a certain feel to the fabric. The other is tying your turban once and taking it off like a hat. It is this that people have a problem with. What's wrong with it is that Rehit says to tie your turban afresh every time. If you ask, "Where is that written?", it's written in Bhai Nand Lal ji's Rehitnama. @ipledgeblue didn't just make it up. Umm, no, bro. We're not evangelical Christians like President George W Bush of the US claiming to "talk to God" who told him to invade Iraq. "Speaking to him directly" basically ends up being doing whatever you feel like with the excuse that Guru ji told you to do it. If you still want to take your turban off like a hat, feel free to do so, but don't claim that it's Rehit.
