What size kirpan do you keep with you?

My regular kirpan is an 11'' taksali sarbloh kirpan..

I have the 9" blade taksali sarbloh kirpan. Its sharpened on both sides and the curve is very sharp.

unfortunately, the quality of these kirpans is poor. ie the metal is not folded enough times leaving the sarbloh soft and maliable and making it so theres a point that it cant be sharpened any more. it can only get so sharp for so long.

but of course they are better than any other kirpans available that I have seen.

..i also may have a number of other shastars on me most of the time...

Just a question....

When you say you wear a 9" kirpan/siri sahib...what are you referring to, i.e. the blade or the whole kirpan?

a) Is it like 6 inches blade and 3 inches handle

OR

b) the blade itself is 9 inshes (and like 3 more inches for the handle part?)

This follows...how would you wear it underneath your shirt/t-shirt etc without it showing? :T:

thats what i also wanna, how would you hide it under your shirt. Like if you're wearing like jeans and shirt for school....how do you hide under your shirt? especially ya'll who go to work suit booted

You make your gatra short so ur Sri Sahib doesn't go under ur shirt. Just pin it up or get it stiched.

nope, whole kirpan is 9".. i feel jipped.. thats major thuggee...

9" kirpan should have a 9" blade not a 6" blade..

now i gotta go get another kirpan......

anyone know where to get a 12" kirpan?
