Are we as Sikhs allowed to do Tough Mudder?

Tough Mudder is a series of hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle race - mud run events designed by British Special Forces to challenge the toughest of the tough

Asking as Kakkar will be getting muddy, muddy Dastaar, mud on Kesh and Kirpan etc.

Just wanna make sure no Beadbi is committed before signing up.

Do it for the training and experience.

BUT be careful you don't fall for any British 'miltry' propaganda afterwards though, especially as you may be pumped up with adrenaline straight after the exercise.

Last thing we need is another gullible, over-enthusiastic apna 'poster boy' (or poster girl) for the Anglo's now discredited and dubious military force.

VAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA, VAHEGURU JI KI FATEH

If beadbi was a concern as proposed, we could not exercise or do any seva, as it may risk getting the Kakkars dirty. We are to treat them as a part of our body and maintain them accordingly. Gursikhs would never have gone to battle, as the Kakkars would have suffered damage. Mud, sweat, blood, chunks of flesh - all things that Kakkars of Gursikhs were exposed to in battle.

I don't think this constitutes beadbi. Now, if you were going to try to pack a Gutka Sahib on your person while competing in Tough Mudder...

Before you all ask these kind of questions picture this scenario of the great Sikhs going up to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and saying this :

"Guru ji......I'm sorry but me and the men have thought long and hard about going to war and fighting the Mughals but have come to the conclusion that there would be a real chance of our body's suffering cuts which would mean sacriledge and our amrit broken......blood getting on our dastars which would be a disgrace....dirt getting on our kakkars as we fall which would be beadbi and so have decided it would be much better if we sat this one out"

You really do have to worry about the effeminate standard of 'Sikhs' people like the akj have created today.
