Words Of Wisdom

Recommended Posts

I was Cycling this morning and I noticed a person about half a mile ahead.

I could guess he was Cycling a little slower than me and that made me feel good,
I said to myself I will try catch up with him.

So I started Cycling faster and faster. Every block, I was gaining on him a little bit.
After just a few minutes I was only about 100 feet behind him,
so I really picked up the pace and pushed myself.
I was determined to catch up with him.

Finally, I did it! I caught up and passed him. Inwardly I felt very good. "I beat him".

Of course, he didn't even know we were racing.

After I passed him,
I realized I had been so focused on competing against him that
I had missed my turn to my house .

I had missed the focus on my inner peace,
I missed to see the beauty of greenery around,
I missed to do my inner soul searching meditation,
and in the needless hurry feet slipped from the paddle twice or thrice and might have hit the sidewalk and broken a limb.

It then dawned on me, isn't that what happens in life when we focus on competing with
co-workers, neighbours,
trying to outdo them
or trying to prove that we are more successful
or more important and in the bargain
we miss on our happiness within our own surroundings?

We spend our time and energy running after them and we miss out on our own paths to our given destination.

The problem with unhealthy competition is that it's a never ending cycle.

There will always be somebody ahead of you,
someone with a better job,
nicer car,
more money in the bank,
more education,
a prettier wife,
a more handsome husband,
better behaved children,
better circumstances and
better conditions etc.
But one important realisation is that 'You can be the best that you can be, when you are not competing with anyone.'

Some people are insecure because they pay too much attention to
what others are,
where others are going,
wearing and driving, what others are talking.

Take whatever you have,
the height, the weight and personality.  Accept it and realize, that you are blessed. Stay focused and live a healthy life.

There is no competition in Destiny. Each has his own.

Comparison AND Competition  is the thief of JOY.
It kills the Joy of Living your Own Life.

Run your own Race that leads to Peaceful, Happy Steady Life.

“Khusrau darya prem ka, ulti wa ki dhaar,
Jo utra so doob gaya, jo dooba so paar.

English Translation:

Oh Khusrau, the river of love
Runs in strange directions.
One who jumps into it drowns,
And one who drowns, gets across.”

“The eye through which I see God

is the same eye

through which God sees me;

my eye

and God's eye

are one eye,

one seeing, one knowing, one love.”
 Meister Eckhart,

will soothe you and heal you,
I will bring you roses.
I too have been covered with thorns.”

“Religion is nothing but institutionalized mysticism.

The catch is,

mysticism does not lend itself to institutionalization.

The moment we attempt to organize mysticism,

we destroy its essence.

Religion, then,

is mysticism

in which the mystical has been killed.

Or, at least diminished.”

Just as a candle cannot burn without fire,

men cannot live without a spiritual life.

As we advance in life

it becomes more and more difficult,

but in fighting the difficulties

the inmost strength of the heart is developed.

Vincent Van Gogh

How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours.

Karma comes after everyone eventually.

You can't get away with screwing people over your whole life,

I don't care who you are.

What goes around comes around.

That's how it works.

Sooner or later

the universe will serve you

the revenge that you deserve.

Jessica Brody

Don't waste time on revenge.

The people who hurt you

will eventually face their own karma.

Author Unknown

You are free to choose,

but you are not free

from the consequence of your choice.

Author Unknown

Whatever you give to life, it gives you back.

Do not hate or harm anybody.

The hatred and wickedness

which comes out from you

will someday come back to you.

Love others.

And love will comeback to you.

Author Unknown

Every action has equal and opposite reaction.

This is law of the universe and spares none.

Wrong done and injustice inflicted

is paid back in the same coin.

No one has escaped justice of the universe.

It is only a matter of time.

STAYING POSITIVE does not mean that things will turn out okay. Rather it is knowing that YOU will be okay no matter how things turn out.

No matter what you're going through, there's a light at the end of the tunnel and it may seem hard to get to it but you can do it and just keep working towards it and you'll find the positive side of things.

Demi Lovato

An attitude of positive expectation is the mark of the superior personality.

Brian Tracy

When it rains, it pours? but soon, the sun shines again. Stay positive. Better days are on their way.

Who is your life partner ?

Mom / Dad
Husband /wife
Son / Daughter

Your real life partner
is Your Body

Once your body stops responding no one is with you.

You and your body
stay together from
Birth till Death.

What you do to your
body is your
responsibility and
that will come back
to You.

The more you care
for your body, the
more your body will
care for You.

What you eat,
What you do for being Fit,
How u deal with
How much rest you
give to it..
Will decide how your body gonna respond.

Remember your
body is the only
permanent address
where You live.

Your body is your asset / liabilty, which no one else can share.

Your body is your
You are Your real
life partner.

Be Fit  forever👍🏼

    • Nah, you just don't know how to analyse and read it. It's didactic narratives designed to make sense to the reader - not all historically based.    A lot of it is based around literacy and explorations and adaptations of literary forms, jungh vidhya, bir raas, social issues, just governance.
    • Yeah, I can spot them from miles away now. Unfortunately this type is also adept at worming and scheming themselves into positions of power - so they are usually at advantage in work hierarchies, and as you've noticed, they can sense your heart and that often makes them hone in. They are VERY jealous and just being liked by others is enough to set them off. They are hyper vigilant, although they act nonchalant, and save bits of info to use against you at a later date.  You're right - they give off an energy you can sense a mile away, just from their presence and facial expressions - even without talking. We must give off an energy too, that they sense.  Their language is another giveaway, they don't talk about feelings, unless it's their own disgruntlement at something. They are completely oblivious to the feelings of others. They often go overboard to try and portray themselves as 'nice people' and go mental when anyone cracks the facade.  I think they really struggle with abstract thoughts and concepts, hence the sole anchoring on material and status and exterior presentation. A materialistic bimbo is their best bet for a partner (they like trophy wives/girlfriends), I feel really sorry for some of the poor women that get embroiled with them only to realise what they are dealing with years down the line after years of emotional abuse and neglect and having kids with them (who get embroiled in the narcs emotional games). They are really good at charming the f**k out of naive people to get what they want.
