Is Guru Granth Sahib Ji Within A Hindu Mandir Beadbi?

I don't like the idea of Guru Granth Sahib Ji within a hindu temple. i have heard of several cases before of hindu mandirs holding guru granth sahib, especially one in malia or mali or someplace like that in europe where they had guru granth sahib in parkash 24/7 without ever doing sukhasan of it, then some singhs had a fight there and took the saroop away successfully to barcelona gurdwara but months later found out the mandir brought another guru granth sahib ji saroop but this time in urdu.

anyways with the link i just provided I hate how there are idols and statues of hindus and animal gods all around, this is idol worship andisnt having guru granth sahib around all these idols just blasphemy and mocking? totally disrespectful. the guys who run that place there are not even Sikhs and dont realise that the idol worship taking place is complete manmat and going against Satguru Ji while having a maharaj saroop in the very same place right in front! Sikhs around world need to be aware of this, i dont think any Singhs or committee or jathebandia even know about this mandir or this situation, if you know any sangat in manila or phillipines it would be great if you could visit this place along with other singhs and let the people who run it know what their doing is wrong and take the saroops away to a gurdwara,

at first i was thinking this is the work of rss trying to implement hinduism into sikhi but it looks like these guys just dont know what they're doing is wrong.

I actually remember visiting that link a long time ago by coming across it randomly, and had it saved to my notes. There was a user who had commented on there but it seems like they removed his comment. It said "This is beadbi and disrespect of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and clearly the work of the rss trying to link Sikhi with hindutava. I am from the UK and I will make this issue aware to Sikhs throughout the UK and the world that you are doing wrong here as Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji should only be in a Gurdwara and not a mandir. I suggest you stop this immediately and hand over the Guru Granth Sahib Ji saroops over to a Gurdwara otherwise serious action shall be taken."

That was the comment posted on there before they removed it. I know this because i've had it saved since a long time ago but just remembered it from your post. I wonder why they removed his commen

Guru Granth Sahib Ji is for everyone, the message is universal.

In the olden days, not so long ago in fact, Hindus used to come to the Gurdwara and the mulsims used to go to the Gurdwara and there was a togetherness that we just do not find these days. They did sewa in the Gurdwaras and did satkar of Guru Ji. But over the years we have showed great animosity to the local communities so much so that these days you will never find any Hindus or Muslims at Gurdwaras anymore.We ourselves have made Sikhi so small, we have shrunk it just to the Gurdwaras, and what a great job we are making of the Gurdwaras :-(

We go into any place where we hear of saroop of Guru Granth Sahib Ji, instead of showing them how to do proper satkaar or Guru Ji, instead of showing them the rehat maryadha so that they can do true sewa of Guru Ji and that Guru Ji's message is cherished and spread by all to the whole world we instead create great hoo-ha and bring Saroop back to Gurdwara.

I think it's a huge beadbi given the context of the article. They have murtian openly displayed. Old Sikh Gurdware didn't even have simple pictures or drawings - they were so simple.

How much satkar do we give Guru Sahib Ji in our Gurdwaras?

When anand karaj takes place in Guru Ji’s hazoori how much beadbi do we do? Take the way we dress, take the way we totally ignore Guru throughout the ceremony and take the way the photographers and video makers scuttle about trying to get the best shot with total disregard to Guru Ji.

We have people sitting on benches in front of Guru Ji, is this not beadbi?

Big arguments in front of Guru Ji happen all the time with total disregard to Guru Ji, then these escalate to full blown fights with people running around with kirpans, where is the satkar of Guru Ji then?

Yet we will charge into any Mandir grab saroop of Guru Sahib Ji in the name of beadbi.

Would it not be wise to sit down with the mandir leaders and show them how to do satkar, show them rehat maryadha. Why are we shrinking Sikhi ourselves ?

I agree that all can get laha from Maharaj ji, but placing them with other, such as murtia/idols I don't agree with, because it's hypocritical, it's going against what Is told to us by Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji which is to praise Waheguru Akaal Purukh only.

So why are they placed next to statues of another religion.

I'm sorry, it's not to offend any Dharm/religion, but I feel it's an insult to what Guru ji tells us and yet people do not understand.

If they do not understand, then to make them aware with sincerity and not go in all hot headed. This way they will have respect for Maharaj ji and do the right thing themselves by not placing them there.
