I've been confused about this. In a past post to @Suchi I said I didn't even like the word Hindu. I wanted to clarify and ask..
I though Hindu meant thief in Arabic and had been applied to the people and area. I heard Sant Jarnail Singh Bhinderwale Shaheed Ji say something like that. And that all the Vedas and Puranas etc use the word Brahman. So it left me feeling like using the word Hindu was nonsense and an insult ultimately to Vedic culture and its' people.
Oh shoot. Lemme watch that video...

Ah it was the President of the Religion faculty at a University in Iran wanting to start something with Sikhi. Probably an imam anyways.
That's a good point bro. They even morph back and forth between wild and domestic genes if they come into or out of contact with us. Of all species we seem to have impacted each others genes immensely. I think Temple Grandin wrote a book on it. That happens by interaction alone though. Doesn't take dna manipulation or fake wombs etc.
Plant hybridization takes a human hand but also works naturally.
And the husbandry of animals to create breeds is another natural example.
The timelines and nature of Devte and their roles are clearly explained in Gurbani. Everyone used a dhal in battle too, and had it emblazoned on things, doesn't mean everyone was worshipping it. Agreed.
