"Too many foreigners" ? oh how I love a coconut

So your okay to be swamped by uncontrolled immigration in the uk. often people with no skills who come to sponge of the state. These people can also be criminals. I wonder if you would welcome these people in your home?

London is very messed up place for a family person I definitely wouldn't want to raise children in London , so many bad and confusing external influences make it very hard to instill a sense of identity.

Not mention the general rat race and run around busyness of London life which gives very little time for working parents to spend with their kids.

The likelihood of raising "cocunut" kids with no culture or identity us much higher in London than other parts of the UK.

This is what I am talking about. For me its also about being somewhere more tranquil and peacfull. Well known studies have shown living in overcrowded cities is bad for your health. I guess the perfect balance would be to have a getway house/ cottage in the country to go to for holidays. to get back to nature and and out of the rat race.

There's no better place to live then Home.

Fact is one has to go where his job takes him.

(In above verse Kirat simply means job)

Rather than moving, take frequent breaks away from London.

Yes good idea. This could be a solution. As I do miss London when Im away.

As for the saying "if your tired of london your tired of life"

I laugh at this. London is nothing but a dump. I will say lets bring down buckingham palace and bring down the london bridge. its nothing but a pile of rubbish. London or should I say Rubbishdon

Sorry If I offended the londoners

something my kid bro and his missus said before moving out of hounslow west down the road to richmond postcode in one of those villages which have been engulfed London's growth. You run to Scotland and you'll find that particular type of foreigner in droves unless you escape to the Highlands. We are thinking about moving out of London in a couple of years too but more towards the coast and go the B&B , holiday let route to free up time to do other things than just work eat sleep and repeat

Good idea. Being beside the sea is great. fresh sea air and low pollution levels and also a business to earn some dough while your there.

Bhrava I was born in London, but the way things are shaping up , self-suffiiency is necessary , moving out of the cities will give you a chance at not being trapped .

Big Tera,

If you want to move out of London, go do it.

I understand you mean though. You are not a coconut to think otherwise.

I think there is uncontrolled immigration because immigration is far far higher in the last 10-15 years and it does cause problems with housing, congestion, public services etc.

I think immigration is not the problem per se, I think that when  a whole new set of people move in and the old set of people move out and the neighbourhood changes, you feel that you do not fit in anymore and feel left behind and feel maybe it's time to move on. All the local people who you knew have moved on and it does not feel the same anymore.
