Hypocritical "Sikhs"

WJKK WJKF,

it is sometimes funny how majority of the Sikh kaum loves bhindranwale, claim to believe that are sant/mahapurkh but very few actually follow them?

in local area, some uncles continuously ask kavishers to sing about bhindranwale and the same uncles invite anti-gurmat parchariks to the area.

Taksal is currently not following the maryada left by either Baba Thakur Singh ji or other mahapurkhs of taksal. Other jathebandis like AKJ don't accept raagmala. While some aren't to believe Charitropkyan to be bani.

are we lying to ourselves when we call them "sant baba jarnail singh ji khalsa bhindranwale"? They surely contributed to the panth and have clarified on other points.

Please Akj and Ragmaala - it is not correct to state ALL jatha members feel the same , many still recite ragmaala it is left as an individual decision.  All of Dasam Bani is accepted by all the older generation and Mahapurakhs  , maybe there are some unpard people now who refuse Charitropakyan because they do not understand why or what it is  but I do not think it is a majority stance .

Given we know that all the jathedars of the taksal were selected by the standard of their jeevan and personality prior to Dhumma It is not hard to understand them to be brahamgyani especially the effect their presence had on people . Dhumma was a minor figure who was abroad and nobody knew well and it is clear he is not even close to the level of his predecessors in terms of khirdaar.I would object to placing Sant before his name but only him .

Sant ji was the real deal , evil people are still scared of his name long after his time with us , his words still have the immense strength in them and the youth getting exposure to them are still being transformed .

What's wrong with calling Jathedars of Taksal Sant, (not Dhumma or the modern Jathedars), each one of them were Mahapurukhs from it's founding of Baba Deep Singh Ji/(some say Bhai Mani Singh Ji) till Baba Thakur Singh Ji. (There were a few Nirmallas there and there, but their influence is long gone as well as Sewapanthis).

I meant I would only object to adding to Dhummas name ....(sorry for the line break)

sorry Bhen ji I don't understand ... I am speaking from actual real people experience not videos

I mean I have been watching videos of those anti-raagmala and saying all sorts of things to prove their point. So I came up a "generalisation" which according to your experience is false

    • Hi All, I havent been on this forum for a while but I thought id give it a try again as it helped me through some rough times earlier in my life. I wanted to seek for guidance on sikhi and marriage ... I noticed a post earlier on sanjog etc. and it got me thinking about my own life and marriage. For context, I have been married 3 years and things are not working out. When we met, I looked in to sanjog alot and it felt like it was written. However, as these years have gone by its become apparent that we no longer align with each other and our marriage is struggling. We dont seem to understand each other and things have fallen apart. We are at a stage now where separation/divorce is looking like the best option. Neither of us are happy and whilst we have tried to work things through in many different ways, after 3 years we have drifted away. What are the sikh views on this? is it written if we decide that we no longer serve each other? or is that a sin and should I continue to work at it? my issue at the moment is that it is draining me. I feel withdrawn from everything due to things going on between us including sikhi and going to the gurdwara.  Breaks my heart to even be writing this but I do think if we are both not happy and cant see a way of being happy then what is the point in continuing? Or should I be continuing and is it paap if we dont honour our laavan? if that is the case, what does sikhi say about marriage? how do I continue knowing everyday I feel the way I do?   Thanks

    • I'll use this place as my spiritual journal so if anyone wants to join then feel free to! I'm not sure if this could be classed as an experience but last week (or 2 weeks ago), I felt my saliva to be sweet however I lost it after a week. I don't really regret it though, if I lost it then it's Hukam Another point, I feel my concentration to be very good for a while, I can focus on the void for a longer period of time than I could before. I also feel a lot more Anand, it's all Guru di kirpa
