Whats striking in these scenarios is : the saabat soorat husbands have been totally neutered by their wives in relationships. How can a man sit still knowing his sons are moneh and he isn't passing sikhi genes further man. And on top of that, brahmanwaad is creeping right uptil the nose and no one else is bringing it, but the wife ! 

"Why do we have so much of maryadas. Eh ni karna.. oh ni karna.. " and then she went on to slander amritdharis about how we slander pandit's hypocrisies but we do the same .and then she was like "I like hindu weddings. I like how they throw flowers during fere. I am totally gonna do my 2 sons weddings same" .  

And then she said how she was doing gurbani paath in her school once (she's a teacher) and someone said looking at the gurbani with a dirty face "whats all this" . And I was tempted to reply "hindu anna anyways as per gurbani , but would you rather go on with ." Instead of bullsshit , she should have determined for a tougher sikh identity herself, but I tell you our people are so lost, I can't shake my head enough in distrust. I cant' believe these is how sikh ppl have come to be . What did dasam pita sacrifice for ? for such gande ande ... tch tch

No wonder this is happening. When the average Sikh cannot explain with pyaar to our Brahmin brethren that Dhan Dhan Shaheed Bhai Mati Das Ji and Dhan Dhan Shaheed Bhai Sati Das Ji are among the bravest Gurmukhs of Sikh history then the fault clearly lies with us as a community failing to do parchar. Brahmins are 40 million strong and could come to the fold of Sikhi if only we ditch bashing them as 40 million people (most of whom are not anti-Sikh) with terms like Brahminwaad (when the correct term would be Manuvadi soch or Hindutva RSS agenda) and educate them about our shaheeds and notably the 7 erstwhile (Sharma) Amritdhari brothers from Patiala who laid down their lives before Indira Gandhi's tanks at Sri Harmandir Sahib in 1984.

Sikhi isn't passed down by genes. It is passed on via conviction of sincere belief. Don't assume that sons not being moneh is an indication of true Sikh belief (as the Ganesh pooja illustrates).

Given that most Kashmiri Sikhs are of Brahmin ancestry can we not stick to terms like Manuvadi soch or Hindutva RSS thinking? Otherwise it is inevitable that a community being bashed by Sikhs will react against labelling them as the root of all problems.

The Panj Piare were from south India, Gujarat, Orissa, Uttar Pardesh and Pakistan but if we can't explain that to the resident populations there (as we lack knowledge ourselves) then clearly increasing assimilation is inevitable. All of India are natural born Sikhs if only we explain Sikhi and truth of equality, justice and seva that it represents

\this has happened with my Mama's daughter he was so busy being a modern dad  i.e. friends with her  and allowing her complete freedom to just hang around with hindus day in and out  without any warnings about saying niari . Encouraging her to socialise by going to college 'concerts' like the type that promote gandh  even joining in with hindu ceremonies with his regimental mates . Same with mother she was from a family that was active in promoting sikhi during the eighties but she's now licking her wounds after her daughter announced she's marrying a hindu from maharastra.

The shame of it is also she had a bright future because she was in the civil engineering field , well educated, beautiful, smart  and would have been an asset to the sikh population but now she's been snapped up by a backward thinking people and will probably be forced to bring up the kids as hindus .Wonder if 'nana' will be happy at the mundan of his dothe dothian?
And another sikh bloodline bites the dust.

 given that Dhan Dhan Baba Namdev Ji Maharaj were from Maharastra, there is nothing wrong with any Punjabi marrying someone whose parents are Hindu's from Maharashtra. It's only if the daughter cannot explain to her Maharasthran husband that all Maratha people are natural born Sikhs due to Dhan Dhan Baba Namdev Ji Maharaj's example that a problem arises. Many indigenous Maratha Sikhs from Dalit backgrounds too.

 That's her fault if her belief in Sikhi is not pukka enough to encourage natural born Sikhs (the people of Maharashtra) back into the fold.

 Mundan is clearly nonsense. But again the problem is not the marriage but the fact we are not encouraging new spouses into Sikhi to widen the Sikh Panth's ability to do seva for Sarbat da Bhala.

 

Because we don't realise that mixed marriages are inevitable when 99.7% of the global population are non-Sikhs and fail to welcome erstwhile non-Sikhs into the fold via Sangat and education.

err we are supposed to ensure that the girl's sikhi is not at risk in her in-laws  minimum , which these guys have not done . They haven't even asked  if damaad will become a sikh at all .
