Imagine how glorious they must of looked back then. Its wrong how people were driven out of their ancestral lands, thats the land of our gurus.

Blame the British,  they royally bent us over and shoved their double cross, up us.

well it was the muslim elite from UP who started asking for a separate muslim state, jinnah was their spokes person. the muslim elite got worried about their status in a hindu majority country and questioned what their position would be so they started demanding a separate nation, muslim elite basically wanted to hog all the wealth to themselves. by carving out a separate nation the rich pakis didnt have to share their wealth with anyone else, in fact only the rich pakis benefited from the partition, the average pendu paki has not gained anything from partition.    sikhs and hindus were against the partition right from the beginning. 

its the rich muslims from UP that asked for the partition, blame them, british just drew the line and bogged off

its the muslims that instigated the violence, even gandhi was against the partition.

Drew a line that separated Punjab, they could of done it in so many ways that would have stopped all the violence.

well punjab, especially the historical gurdaspur region was tricky because there was no clear division between sikhs muslims and hindus, there was no muslim area or sikh area  etc  so they had to draw a line somewhere       jalandhar which today is in the hearth of punjab back than had a massive population of muslims, same with areas like gujranwala in pakistan had a massive sikh/hindu population , so there were no clear boundaries so they just scribbled a line on. i think even amritsar had a good 40% muslim population before partition. 

it still dont change the fact that pakis asked for this line to be drawn, they are to be blamed for everything that happened. they really do cause devastation everywhere they are and everywhere they go. even now in pakistan there is a bomb blast every other day, they even hid osama bin laden in their own country
