what's with the new banner

I view this site 99% of the time on a mobile device, but yesterday I was charging it, so I went on my PC in the evening, and decided to visit the forum. 

Frig me, the size of the banner on my screen was almost as big as my head! .

It would look better even if the original background blue replaced the current gaudy royal blue of the banner.  There's tonnes of free classy and regal looking fonts that could replace the strange choice of typeface, too.

lmao  same here   i use my mobile all the time and when i went on my laptop the banner was huge    looks much worse on a laptop screen.

some cheap fish&chips or kebab places have similar looking signs hanging inside the window with flashing lights  lol

Thank you for the wonderful discussion on the forum banner . With outpouring positive support of our sangat on this new banner, we will keep this banner till next Sikh New Year ...

can the forum make a decision on the next banner, just put a temporary banner in place and let the SANGAT choose?

That will be great. Let us know what kind of banner or a gurmat based universal message we can replace it with.
