Eating Beef

Should Sikh that eat meat eat beef. I am asking because Guru ji says not to eat beef and that he wants to end the butchering of cows.

Please correct me sangat but eating beef is a bajjar kurehat. So obviously not beef and by right we are not supposed to even eat meat. I think you already know the answer because it is already stated in Sri Ugardanti Sahib where you attach the phangti. So yeah!

That's a controversial agree to disagree topic. One foot rests on Jhatka only when needed and the other foot rests on no meat period. The second is more Satogun but this is Kalyug and there is a purpose and tradition to Jhatka.

Bro. This can't be your first time encountering this can it? There are Samparadas and Jathas that eat meat and you'd have to take it up with them.

That makes sense then I guess. You just have so much Gyann in your posts in general. Nihung Jathas and Hazoor Sahib have Jhatka practices that relate to their Chakarvarti lifestyle and needing to eat in chaos without supply and be emotionally capable of spilling blood for Dharam Yudh.

Oh ok.Thanks for the information veerji but I'm actually curious how killing innocent beings would give us strength in the battlefield.That is the 1 thing we avoid in battlefield.We dont hurt innocent people in the battlefield.That is the order we are given.We cannot attack woman,children or unarmed beings.So how does attacking unarmed innocent animals give us strength and prepares us?The strength the Singhs had during the Puratan times were from Naam and Bani,not from eating meat.Even Baba Deep Singh ji carried their head on their hand due to Naam Bani.They used to do 108 Japji Sahib at night.That gave them the strength and the ability to hold their head on their hand.Not because of meat.
