During Khalsa Raj, in the Lahore Darbar they celebrated Lohri, Basant, Holi, Diwali, Baisaki and Dusserha, as well as Sangrand and Gupurabs.

On Lohri and Basant courtiers were expected to give extra charity to the poor and everyone wore Yellow.

Baisaki was celebrated as the beginning of harvest and the creation of the Khalsa. On Baisakhi everyone was expected to go to Harmandir Sahib and do extra charity.

Diwali was a huge celebration which took place at Harmandir sahib/Amritsar.

Holi was celebrated with colour and courtiers would have sword fights.

Dusserha was celebrated with Shastar and cannon worship, horses were given respect. And then the Singhs would sword fight, one would pretend to be Ravaan and the other Raam.

Sangrand and Gurprurbs were celebrated and everyone was expected to hand out extra charity.
