I also notice that the Nagar Keertan has not been advertised (so to speak) in other Gurdwaras in Coventry (or at least some of them)- I do not belive all the Gurdwaras participate in this one.

Nanaksar do not let any other gurdwhara participate in their nagar keertan because previously Guru Nanak Parkash Gurdwhara, Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Guru Hargobind Gurdwhara and Ramgharia held a nagar keertan and Nanaksar requested them to put a picture of Baba meehaa Singh on their float, but all other gurdwhara rejected this request and thereafter Nanaksar have be doing their own nagar keertan. That is the reason.
