All this buddha dal and Tarna dal being made in earlier part of 18th century is false.

Baba Buddha ji were the first commander of Buddha Dal.

Evidence was that Baba Budha ji was first commander of Guru Hargobind ji's akal Sena, and the dal was hence named after Baba Budha ji, therefore Baba Budha Dal and Budha Dal.

Baba Budha Sahib Ji also did the tilak on  our Guru Sahiban Ji’s foreheads on their Gadhi Divas.  EDUCATE.
