Ah i was gunna start a new thread but then i saw this 1.

Surely those 'sellouts' cant call themselves Sikhs :@ How can you betray Sikhi like that?? Ah this has got me mad.

Khalsa Ji, read this http://www.sikhnet.com/sikhnet/news.nsf/Ne...72574050066683F

howeva i think sitting on a computer on a Sikh forum site complaing and argueing about it isnt going to do us much justice.

We really need to form groups that will take legal action, but that has been said too many times. Is anything actually happening tho? we need a good strong leader. One that doesnt worry about the Sikh calander or fight ova stupid things like that! I would say we need Guru Gobind Singh Ji Mahraj bak, but wen we take the Blessed Amrit, He passes down His Roop to us, so there is nothing we are not capable of.

i think we should start by 1st all of us SIKHS calling the bbc station and complaining. If that doesnt work, then we will need Sikh groups!!

AKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!!!!!! THE KHALSA SHALL ALWAYS RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seems like they send everyone the same reply got mine today:

Thank you for your e-mail.

I am sorry you were unhappy with our File on 4 documentary on Sikh

militancy. The programme was presented by an experienced and respected Sikh

journalist and we were at pains from the outset to make it clear that

we were focusing on the activities of a minority of people - so I would

hope that nobody would be tempted to draw any broader conclusions

about the community in general. However the issues we reported are of

obvious public interest both to Sikhs and to the wider public. I therefore

think we were justified in raising the questions we did and in reporting

information based on good sources both here and in India. As we said

in the programme, the idea of Sikh militants being linked with Islamist

groups is "particularly surprising given the traditional animosity

between Sikhs and Muslims which was accentuated during the partition of

India." However the various agencies and experts that we spoke to, both on

and off the record, are adamant that this is what is happening and we

had no reason to doubt them.

Yours sincerely,

David Ross

You claim you have no reason to doubt them so called 'good sources',right I ask you now to name me 1 just 1 not a group just 1 person of the Sikh Community who support Khalistan and is with Al Qaeda/Affiliated groups I doubt you can even get that one name being one of the biggest broadcasters in the world, these so called agencies you spoke to in India including Panjab Police and others have been responsible for extra judicial killings, fake encounters and hundreds of crimes against Humanity and you take their word for it?

Amardeep Basey spoke to an Institute in Delhi headed by killer cop KP Gill who is notorious for ordering false encounters of Sikh Youths throughout the early 90's,how can you take their word for it,being a so called fair and balanced broadcasting corporation?

What kind of question is 'Did you kill anybody?' asked to Daljit Singh at the start of the programme?Very cleverly planned questions to put fear in people,The Music Group Tigerstyle refused to take part in your documentry as they knew before hand what kind of journalism you lot were going to do.

Amnesty International has been banned by the Indian State and Police from Panjab.I ask you why what is their to hide?

I'l tell you there is a whole genocide to hide, rape, mass killings, false encounters, ethnic cleansing and the list goes on.

Why don't the BBC go an speak to amnesty international and other groups to confirm this?

Where as there is evidence to show and prove of human rights abuses and crimes agianst the Sikh nation by the Indian state, you and your co called agencies have not even a shred of proof to show links with Al Qaeda or any of the other rubbish you lot broadcast on the show, you only have the words of these so called organisations such as the Panjab Police,

The recent news about the 15 year old girl killed in Goa shows the state of affairs in India and the so called 'good source' of Police

They tried to cover her murder up

as your own news channel shows

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/devon/7288729.stm

What 'armed insurgency' is going on in Panjab right now?

You was not justified in raising your questions when there is not even an armed insurgency going on in the Panjab,a full smear campaign Sikhs in their communities up and down the country have been urged to boycott BBC radio 4 and complain to OFCOM we are not satisfied.

After reading some of the comments in pickledpolitics link posted recently my comments are:

-We NEED to get our Gurdwaras in order. Our backyard is a little messy. Punjabi is also a mess.!

-Secondly BBC Radio is basically inciting HATE and DISCORD by broadcasting a half baked program.

-Finally - Why the heck did the British, hindus and muslims divide Punjab in the first place?

By the way, does this "sunny" fella do any Gurbani Vichaar or is he just full of hot air?
